It was as if her emotions were tryna convey her words through her face.

I knew how much she liked the idea of having a proper family.

Especially one where she would have siblings.

I knew I didn't have any right to hold her back, but couldn't she at least act like she didn't want to leave.

I knew her more than anyone.

She was as selfish as a mother Kangaroo.

No matter how much someone meant to her she would spare no second in leaving that person behind if it meant well for her.

That didn't mean she wasn't kind she'd do anything for someone she loved as long as it didn't affect her much.

That's why I always cared about her.

That kind of attitude made it difficult for people she cared about to be endangered, cos she'd make sure she prevented it before it escalated.

I've always wanted her to be happy 

And from her expression earlier, I knew she liked the idea of that man adopting her even if he might not be her real father.

Look Annabeth I know how much you wanted a family, but I can't let you follow anyone just because they claimed to be family.

He could be dangerous we don't even that much about him so pls don't go yet we should at least find evidence that he's your father.

As Lucas was talking the housekeeper led Jackson in and he seemed thrilled for someone that couldn't go home with his daughter.
