  Hey Jackson, you came pretty early.

  Yea and I brought something with me.

Lucas glared at Jackson like he was staring at prey before replying in the lowest pitch ever.

Oh hi

I knew he'd be pissed.

He was trying to convince me not to follow Jackson and he just spawned.

Talk about wrong place at the wrong time.

Well for Jackson it was the opposite.

You said you brought something I assume it's for me what is it.

I started a conversation immediately before one of them exploded.

A DNA test!! Jackson replied just as quickly as Lucas asked.

Ok what did you do this time?

When I came here yesterday, I kinda got hold of some of your hair while we were talking.

It was also part of the reason I came.

I needed to make sure I wasn't mistaken.

I knew he was telling the truth. It felt like someone was tugging my hair yesterday when we were talking but I didn't bear much thought to it.

Wait Annabeth don't tell me you believe this scam! Lucas yelled

This test result could have been forged why do you seem to believe him so easily. 

Hey Lucas, don't be unfair why did you call him a scam he could be telling the truth for all we know.

It's you that's being unfair!

You suddenly want to leave with a man that showed up from nowhere

and you keep acting so nonchalant as if it isn't that big of a deal!

I know that you hardly care about other people's feelings, but can't you act like you care just a little bit.

I get that he took care of me all these while, but this person was my real father.

I do but that's not why I'm saying he's my father.

I knew all along that he was telling the truth, but I still had some doubts and I'm going to confirm them now.

I turned to Jackson this time

My mom didn't know you were from the Hales family at the beginning of your relationship, right?

I looked at him hoping to get the answer I was looking for

I thought it was carl.

It wasn't carl but she also called me that often.         

She had this obsession with the name carl

I looked at him keenly waiting for an answer

It's from an iron and even though she hates people seeing it, it's in a place that's very easy to spot so she tends to wear jeans.

He really was my father. The Robert and carl was not that much of a test anyone that knew my mom knew how much she loved the Carl.

But only her parents and I knew about the scar.

" This was gonna be fun" I thought while grinning from ear to ear

Well, to be honest I had given up on finding him.

My mom always seemed so hurt when talking about him and even in a drunken state she begged to never look for him so I didn't. But since he came looking for me there's no harm in giving it a try.

Jackson looked guilty when I said that, but he also couldn't hide his happiness when I agreed to follow him.
