WHATEVER IT TAKES- IMAGINE DRAGONS
'Take me to the top i'm ready for whatever it takes.'

"Now!" Harry bellowed.

"Stupefy!" chorused the group of teenagers, sending half the death-eaters flying. Lucius blocked the spell but they didn't care about that. They just ran.

They ran like they never had before.

They stopped abruptly as a puff of black smoke appeared before them. Lucius stood with his hand out but they ran the opposite way. So much was going on that Rory had lost track of who was where.

All she knew was that Harry, Hermione and Ron were in front of her. Enzo was right behind her, not taking his eyes off her for a single second.

They had to split up as the corridors were too small and the death-eaters were on their tails. Rory sprinted down a corridor and all she could see were the prophecies on each side of her. She came out of the corridor at the same time as Enzo, Harry, Ron and Hermione. They looked at each other, not knowing what to do.

Rory's jaw tensed as death-eaters appeared at either side of them. "Stupefy!" Enzo exclaimed, sending one of them backwards. Once it was clear, they ran for it. They sent spells behind them, firing at the death eater following them.

"Stupefy!" Rory bellowed, determination coursing her body.

As they ran, Hermione began pushing all of the prophecies off the shelves. Each one hit the ground and shattered with a loud crash. A death eater had caught up and flew right next to Harry, his face dangerously close.

Rory saw and decided to do him a favour. "Stupefy!" she shouted, getting rid of the man. She found Enzo and grabbed his hand, running towards the others. They crashed together, afraid of losing each other.

They stood in a circle as a death eater flew towards them. "Protego!" shouted Ginny, creating a large, bright blue explosion. At first, they were relieved by her action.

That was before the prophecies began falling. They took slow steps backwards, watching them collapse in front of them. "Shit." Rory muttered.

"Get back to the door!" Harry shouted. Enzo grabbed Rory's hand faster than he ever had and they ran. They ran as fast as their legs could possibly take them. This was a life or death situation and Rory wasn't about to give up any time soon. The more the glass fell, the more the floor shook— therefore, the faster they sprinted.

A tsunami of relief washed over Rory as she spotted the door. Harry pushed it open and they all ran for it.

What they didn't expect, however, was the door to open to a massive pit. They fell about a hundred feet at a rapid speed. It reminded Rory of when she fell off her broom during quidditch once in second year, only this was much more intense.

Rory braced herself as she approached the floor, closing her eyes. Hermione and Ginny screamed but no noise came out of Rory's mouth.

I'll see you soon, Cedric. Rory thought as she was mere inches from the ground. However, there was some sort of enchantment on the floor that caught them before they could hit the floor.

It only caught them for a second or two before dropping them to the floor. Rory groaned as her body hit the floor, not half as heavily as it would've if the enchantment wasn't there.

Harry still had ahold of the prophecy. How on earth, Rory had no idea. Everybody groaned as they stood up, trying to figure out where the door had taken them. "You okay?" Enzo asked, brushing the dirt off Rory's torso.

"I'm okay, you?" she asked.

"Great." he smiled, earning an eye-roll from Rory.

"Department of Mysteries. They had that last bit right, didn't they?" Ron sighed.
