1~Izuku's POV||New roommates?

~izuku pov

Hi I'm Izuku midoriya, I'm 19 years old and I'm headed off to college. I signed up to stay in the dormitories, so it will be hard for my mom to let go.

~present day

"Hey sweetie are you finished packing up yet?" My mom asked.

"Almost, just a few more things then I'm ready." I said as I was still putting things in my suitcase.

My mom nodded and waited for me in the doorway. After I got done packing up I turned my mom to give her a hug.

"I'm gonna miss you sweetie, everything is gonna be different without you helping around the house." She said.

It sounded like she was holding back tears.

I pulled back from the hug. "It's fine mom, I know things are gonna be different..." I had to stop talking for a moment.

I looked up at the ceiling holding back tears. I took a deep breath and looked back at her.

I finished my sentence. "But I'll come visit on my breaks, holidays, and I'll even try to make it on your birthday and mine."

My mom hugged me tightly. I knew that as soon as I stepped out the door she was gonna start crying.

I grabbed my suitcase and bookbag, then headed for the front door.

I gave my mom one last hug and smile before I walked out of the door.

"I love you mom and I'll call you when I get settled in, okay?" I told her.

She nodded. "Ok, you better call me. Don't make me wait."

"I won't, I promise." I said as I turned around and put my stuff in the backseat of my car.

"Guess this is goodbye for now, love you mom." I said as I got into the driver's seat, and buckled in.

"I love you too sweetie, drive safe." She said waving at me.

I waved back at her before starting the car, pulling out of the driveway and driving off.

~Arriving at UA College

I finally arrived at the college my new start from home.

I felt nervous as I got out of the car and put my keys in my pocket.

I almost forgot my dorm room key, I looked in the glove department and grabbed it and put it also in my pocket.

I then shut the door and grabbed my suitcase and bookbag. I shut the door, locked my car and headed for the entrance.

As I entered the building it was huge, spacious, and very nice inside.

It had a grey and white smooth marble design. And the floor had these tiles with a gold-like outline.

It was beautiful, I checked in and got my stuffed and myself scanned before heading to the elevator.

"Floor 5, room 502." I mumble to myself repeatedly a few times. "Got it." I said as the elevator doors opened and I stepped inside.

I pressed the number '5' button. As the door was about to shut I saw someone trying to catch the elevator.

"Wait! Please!" They shouted. I put my hand in front of the door sensors to stop it from closing and held it open for them.

The girl stepped inside, "Thank you so much." She said politely. She clicked the '3' button.

The elevator doors finally shut and the elevator started going up.

It was awkward at first. But she broke the ice, "I'm Ochako uraraka, nice to meet you I'm taking nursing classes. How about you?"

"Well I'm taking regular classes until I find something that catches my attention, ya know?" I said.

"And I'm sorry, I'm Izuku Midoriya, this is a fresh year I heard this college got opened a few years ago."

Uraraka nodded. "Mhm, my cousin went here two years ago. But she dropped out because she said the medical classes were too hard."

"Oh, well I hope she finds something easy for her then." I said.

The elevator doors opened on the 3rd floor. "Nice talking to you Izuku." She said as she stepped out and went to her dorm.

The doors closed and started going up again.

~5th floor

I finally made it to the 5th floor and stepped off the elevator.

The 5th floor weirdly smelled like butter popcorn, it must be coming from a dorm room.

I heard music playing from some rooms, people yelling, and I might've heard some people fighting.

I took out my dorm key and unlocked the door.

~In the dorm

I stepped inside and turned the light on. "AH!" I said as I saw a boy with blonde spikey hair, and red eyes sitting on one of the beds.

He looked at me narrowing his eyes. He looked like he was studying me but looked back at his phone.

I sighed of relief and shut the door locking it back. I pulled my suitcase to the other side of the room where the other bed was.

I sat on my bed. Finally I could get off my feet and rest.

I took off my shoes and put them beside my bed. I opened my drawers and put my clothes away.

After I got done putting my clothes away, I felt like I was missing something.

I kept thinking but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. So I shrugged it off.

I wanted to be polite and not come off as rude so I decided to greet the blonde guy.

"Hey, I'm Izuku Midoriya, it's my first day here. What's your name?"

He just looked at me. I looked at him. My smile faltered for a second.

"Katsuki Bakugou.. 2nd year here.."
My smile returned when he spoke.

"Oh nice so you're more experienced than me, nice."

I laid back on my bed.
"So do you have any friends or you kinda don't communicate much?"

"I have friends, I'm just not as active as they are." He said scrolling on his phone.

I nodded. "I understand, some people are just laid back and not as active." I paused for a second.

"Do you want to become friends? And hangout sometimes?" I said propping myself up on my elbow facing his direction.

He gave me a cold answer. "No, we're just roommates."

My smile faltered, but I smiled again. I didn't know what I did or said wrong.

I know college people aren't nice. But at least try to be polite with it.

"It's ok, I understand." I said turning away from his direction.

I soon was drifting off to sleep but I could feel his eyes staring at me. I peek over my shoulder a little.

I caught him staring but he looked away and went back to his phone.

I could see the little blush on his face. I turned back around smiling.
I knew he would warm up to me sooner or later.♡
