ROWAN LET THE reflection of her puffy-eyed face sank in as she looked at herself through her bedroom mirror. her eyes still soaked in tears.
she stared deep into her own soul, trying her hardest to see inside. she wanted to see the true rowan. was this lovely blue-eyed girl really who she was? or was she this creature she had formed within herself?—was it finally letting itself be free?
rowan wanted nothing more than to completely crack.
