Sorry for a shorter chapter!

Elizabeth was sipping coffee when Idina walked in
"Hey," Idina whispered.
"Hey," Elizabeth mumbled, taking a bug gulp of her coffee.
"Any luck?" Idina asked softly.
"What do you think?"
Elizabeth pushed her computer aside and finished her coffee.
"If I were one to drink, I would probably be drunk by now," Elizabeth muttered.
"Good thing you're not," Idina murmured.
There was a moment of silence that passed between them.
"You can see it, can't you?" Elizabeth asked suddenly.
"What?" Idina wondered.
"The love and happiness fading from my eyes," Elizabeth whispered.
"Eliz-"
"You know I won't be able to save her, right?"
"Don't say that!" Idina breathed.
"Idina, even if I find my father, there won't be enough love. April is going to freeze to death," Elizabeth sighed.
"Elizabeth, you can save her. You two are April and Elizabeth! Everyone knows about your friendship. If you can't save her, no one can," Idina comforted.
"Exactly. I can't save her, so no one can," Elizabeth told.
"Elizabeth whatever-your-last-name-is, you will never save April with that attitude. Either you continue sulking and watch your bet friend die, or you see what's really important and feel the love that's around you. Your call," Idina said, getting frustrated.
She left Elizabeth alone with an empty coffee cup and a useless lap top.
