[BTS Discussing Literary Devices]
Jimin: [twirling a pen between his fingers] So, Tae, what’s an alliteration?
Taehyung: [leaning in closer] Alliteration is when you repeat the same sound at the beginning of closely connected words. Like, “Jimin’s juicy lips just drive me wild.”
Jimin: [blushing but grinning] Ah, I see. What about onomatopoeia?
Taehyung: [mimicking a soft whisper] That’s when a word sounds like what it describes. For example, the word “moan” when I… [smirks] Well, you get the idea.
Namjoon:
Jimin: [playfully bites his lip] And what’s a euphemism, Tae?
Taehyung: [grinning mischievously] A euphemism is a polite way to say something that might be too direct or harsh. Like saying, “We stayed up all night studying,” when really, we were…you know, getting to know each other better.
Namjoon:
Jimin: [chuckles, leaning closer] What about innuendo?
Taehyung: [eyes darkening slightly] That’s when you say something that sounds innocent but has a hidden, suggestive meaning. Like, “Jimin, I think you’ve got something on your lips... Want me to help you get it off?”
Namjoon:
Jimin: [laughing and pushing Tae playfully] You’re impossible, Tae.
Taehyung: [smirking, pulling Jimin closer] Only when it comes to you, Jiminie.
Namjoon: [with a sigh, shaking his head] Well, I guess we’ve officially crossed into the “hot for teacher” territory.
Jungkook: [laughing] Who knew a language lesson could be so...educational?
