Fang

The scorching sun hung high in the Vacuo sky, its relentless heat bearing down on the group as they traversed the vast desert on horseback. The wind carried with it the faint scent of sand and the distant sound of rustling dunes, giving the impression of an endless, barren landscape. Fang led the group, his sharp eyes scanning the horizon for any sign of their destination—the southern canyons. Beside him, Ivory, Draiona, and Sophia rode their horses, the rhythmic pounding of hooves against the sand creating a steady, almost hypnotic beat.

Sophia adjusted the scarf around her neck, trying to block out the sun's intensity as she glanced over at Fang. His expression was calm, but there was a weight behind his eyes, a burden of past decisions and memories that she could see lingering beneath the surface. After a moment of hesitation, she spoke up.

Sophia: Fang, why did you leave the White Fang?

Fang kept his gaze ahead, his jaw tightening slightly at the question. He had expected it eventually, but it didn't make it any easier to answer. After a few moments of silence, he sighed, the sound barely audible over the wind.

Fang: I joined the White Fang because I believed in what it stood for. (his voice steady but laced with emotion) Equality, justice, a better future for the Faunus. But over time, the White Fang lost its way. It stopped being about fighting for our rights and started becoming something darker—something that thrived on violence and hatred.

Sophia listened intently, her eyes never leaving Fang's face as he spoke. She could see the pain etched into his features, the regret that came with the choices he had made.

Fang: I didn't sign up to take innocent lives, Sophia. (his tone growing firmer) I believed in the cause, but not at the cost of losing who I was. And when the leadership shifted... when Sienna Khan took over and the organization became even more radical, I knew I had to leave.

Ivory, who had been silent until now, glanced over at her father, her expression unreadable. She had heard fragments of the story before, but never from him directly. The mention of her mother's name sent a pang through her chest, but she remained quiet, letting him speak. Sophia hesitated before asking her next question, sensing the depth of Fang's emotions.

Sophia: Did you... did you still love Sienna after you left? After she became the High Leader?

Fang's grip on the reins tightened slightly, his mind flooded with memories of the woman he had once loved so deeply. Sienna Khan—fierce, passionate, and determined. She had been the fire that fueled the White Fang's rise to power, and he had been drawn to her intensity like a moth to a flame.

Fang: I did. (his voice tinged with sadness) I never stopped loving her, even after I left. But I couldn't stay and watch as she led our people down a path of destruction. It was the hardest decision I've ever made, but I couldn't betray my own beliefs. And then... then I found out about Ivory.

Ivory looked down, her heart heavy as she listened to her father's confession. She had always wondered how he felt about her mother, about the choices they had both made. Ivory met his eyes, her own emotions swirling within her. She had grown up hearing stories of her father from her mother, stories that painted him as both a hero.

Fang: (to Ivory) I may not understand why your mother kept you a secret for so long, but I do think it was for the right reasons.

Sophia glanced between Fang and Ivory, feeling the weight of their shared past. She had never fully understood the depth of Fang's pain, but now she could see it clearly.

Ivan and Mor'du

In the dimly lit training room of the Pylon, the air was thick with the scent of sweat and metal. The walls were lined with various training weapons, each with its history and purpose, their edges gleaming under the faint light.
