The Sharma household was alive with the joyous commotion of Raksha Bandhan. The soft morning sunlight filtered through the sheer curtains, casting a warm, golden glow on the living room. The aroma of freshly made sweets filled the air, adding to the festive atmosphere.

In the kitchen, Rekha was busy overseeing the final preparations. The aroma of delicious sweets wafted through the house, mingling with the fragrances of the pooja items. As she worked, her mind was already on the day's events, particularly the Rakhi ceremony that had always been a significant tradition in their home.

Upstairs, Kabir Sharma, the eldest son, was in his room, preparing for the day's celebrations. He adjusted his kurta, checked his reflection in the mirror, and sighed, knowing that today would bring the usual mix of warmth and chaos that Raksha Bandhan always seemed to deliver.

Downstairs, Kavya and Anamika were engaged in a lively conversation about the day's plans. Kavya, with her characteristic enthusiasm, had meticulously prepared the pooja thali, arranging the diya, rice grains, vermillion, sweets, and rakhis with care. She was looking forward to the day, not just for the traditional rituals but also for a little mischief she had planned.

As Kavya adjusted the rakhi on the thali, she called out to Anamika, who was just coming down the stairs. "Anu di, aap ready ho na? Aaj toh Kabir bhaiya ko bahot tang karenge."

Anamika, who had been like a sister to Kavya, smiled at the younger girl's excitement. "Haan, Kavya, bilkul ready hoon. Aaj toh Kabir bhaiya ki toh chutti."

The two shared a conspiratorial look, both bursting into giggles as they thought about their plan. Their plan was simple yet effective.

Meanwhile, Kabir, having completed his preparations, made his way downstairs. He could hear the faint sounds of Kavya and Anamika's chatter and wondered what they were up to. As he entered the living room, he saw Kavya standing with the pooja thali and Anamika beside her, both of them looking expectantly at him.

Before he could even settle into a spot on the couch, Kavya's voice cut through the air. "Kabir bhaiya, yeh meri jagah hai! Aap yahan mat baitho!"
