She was an employee in a company for a long time,
*Her boss calls her to his Office*
(he was a pretty aged man)
*she knocks on the door and comes in*
Ara : Yes sir?
Dohyun (boss) : Print these papers for me!
Ara : sure sir!
*she nods and pics up the paper, she sees photo of a young man on her boss table*
Ara : sir may I ask who this young man is? I mean he must be ur son ur something as you have a picture of him on ur table!
Dohyun (boss) : oh he? He is my son! Lee hyun-tae
*he continues to type on his laptop*
Ara : oh I see!! I'll leave now
*she smiles and steps back to leave*
*she starts to print the papers while having a curious expression on her face*
*as she finishes , she went to give boss the papers*
*she knocked on the door and gave the papers and left*
*The day Was almost finish and she left the office at almost 10 pm , she seemed to have a very curious expression on her face*
*her life was same all the days, no surprises and such a boring life*
*It was 14 Aug 2024 that day , like all others day she went to the office and her boss called her to his room for some work*
*she knocked on the door and came in*
Dohyun (boss) : u may sit!
Ara : sure sir!
*she sits on the seat*
*they start talking about work and in conversation her boss brings out his son (Lee hyun-tae)*
Ara : what does ur son do? I mean I have never seen him in office
Dohyun (boss) : He lives in USA! He refuses to come back! He says that he will not come back unless it's emergency or really important
Ara : oh I see!
*the conversation ended and she left*
*her life was still same but one day she started to resign and she resigned*
*she was unemployed now but one day a huge bad news hitted her that her ex boss is dead*
*she was really suprised and sad as he treated her as his own daughter*
*she heard the news from one of her colleagues in office*
*it was funeral day and she had to go*
*she went to the funeral and she was sitting alone there along the coffin*
*suddenly a door banged and it opened*
*it was the exact young man she saw in her boss table*
*her eyes softened and she didn't knew what happened to her it felt like something happened In her heart suddenly*
*The man was no one but Lee hyun-tae, The son of her ex boss, he was dressed in a black suit*
*He ran towards the coffin and started crying*
*she was seeing him and felt very bad*
Ara : Are u Lee hyun-Tae? The son of Lee dohyun?
*he was crying so hard and stopped for a moment*
*he looked at her*
Hyun-Tae : How do You know him?...
Ara : Oh he? He was my ex boss! He had a very soft spot for me! He always treated me as his own daughter...! I wish I didn't resigned and got to see him in his last days! He was such a great man
*he walked towards her and sat to the chair next to hers*
Ara : u may regret not coming to Korea often! He talked about u a lot! He really missed you!
Hyun-tae : I haven't seen him in 8 years...I really kinda regret. He told me a lot of times to visit Korea but I never agreed and now he's gone...
*she looked at him with and a pity face*
*she offers to shake hands with him*
Ara : I'm Choi Ara! Nice to meet u!
*he looks at her hand and doesn't hesitate to offer his hand*
*They both shakes the hands*
*she smiles at him*
*She was leaving but then the wife of her boss came up to her, her eyes were all red*
Boss wife : Oy Ara!
Ara : yeaa??
Boss wife : if you don't mind can u stay here for a day I feel so lonely bcz it's just me and Lee hyun Tae in this house now u can surely leave tmr!
*she said while sobbing*
Ara : ofc I can!! He was just like father to me and now I have to act as a daughter too
*she went to hug her boss wife*
