The Grand Line
New World
Location: Near Red Line

•●•

Another two weeks flew by and Willow was very close to the Red Line. She managed the crazy unpredictable weather of the Grand Line and battled Sea Kings here and there all on her own. The little ship the Whitebeard Pirates gave her was sturdy and built for such things, and she was very thankful to them.

She also made two pit stops at some small islands. She docked her ship in secluded areas on the shores of these islands and wandered about in the towns. She got a few stares, but she kept herself on the down low. She'd skillfully "borrow" food from street vendors and hop back on her boat before anyone noticed. She also kept a mindful eye for Ace like Pop-Pop told her to do, and to her delight, she saw his Wanted Poster on a bulletin board.   She made sure to memorize his face

Now back on the sea, she was beginning to drift off course for the tenth time that day while following the compass' heading. The weather started out nice, but now it was rough. Gradually the waves went from six foot swells to fifty foot swells. And the little Sparrow managed her ship through the giant swells that reached up into the sky.

Thankfully, it only lasted a few hours. The Grand Line's unpredictable weather blessed her with calm gentle seas after such massive rolling waves. Dinner time was fast approaching and so she went into her cabin to grab a bite.

Unfortunately, she never noticed the Pirate ship sailing closer towards her in the distance.

While Willow prepared herself some food, the Pirate ship got closer and closer. It was huge. Possibly four times the size of her little ship. On its mast waving back and forth was a strange jolly roger. A big smiley face with a line going through it. . .

The Don Quixote Pirates.

Doflamingo - one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea - owned them.

However, this wasn't one of the officers ships. Luckily it was just a cargo ship. . . And the cargo was SAD coming from Punk Hazard.

The captain of the ship had strict orders from the Don Quixote family to avoid other Pirates or Marines and deliver the cargo post haste. But when the Captain saw Willows little ship, he figured he could make a quick buck by salvaging it, or even better, kidnapping whoever was on board and selling them as a slave.

Willow was right in the middle of eating her sandwich when she sensed the ship pull alongside hers. The cabin got dark thanks to the shadow it casted over her ship, and Willow got a bad feeling.
