Hello. I am Lein. It's short for Mcklein. I want to be called Lein because Lein sounds pretty cool and badass. Just a personal opinion though.

"Damn.....School again..."

I woke up from my bed to look at my phone. I added an alarm to it so that I would wake up, but due to how late I sleep, I think it was usually on the 1-2am mark, I'd also downloaded a volume enhancer, making the alarm literally wake up the neighbors as well. But I don't care, they would be grateful instead.

I checked the time. "4:30 A.M.". I was a little late. I made my alarm to wake me up at 4:00 A.M.. I guess I was too sleepy, but oh well.

"Go Placidly amid the noise and the haste...."

I kept repeating that phrase, and a lot more. A project was given to my class where we would recite the verse "Desiderata" by Max Ehrmann. He's probably a cool guy. But anyway, I approached my bathroom, undressed and started to bathe myself. Even during my time inside the washroom,  I was still memorizing that verse like there's no tomorrow. Our English Teacher was a strict person, who would not settle for decent acts. I had to give my best.

"Alright...Let's see", After I bathe, I dressed up. Taking my P.E Uniform from the wardrobe and using Powder to make myself smell a bit pleasant for today. I will also have some quizzes, quite a lot of them actually. It makes me nervous. They aren't my main subjects, but I studied and reviewed, so I am half-prepared for what's to come.

"5:45 A.M. I should go."

I packed my things, I think I did not forget about anything. I got my money for transportation and skeedadled out of my house. My mom was still asleep, so I did not bring any food with me.

"Ehh.....I have 150 Pesos, This should be enough for the canteen food"

Spoiler alert: I did not buy any foods from the canteen.

Instead, I was feeling very drowsy. So I went to the nearest Coffee shop. I think it was Starbucks, ordered my self a latte, and went to school after.

I soon realized that it was a grave mistake. Buying the latte alone burned all of my school money. I was never the saving type. So I felt a bit guilty.

"I don't even eat, its probably fine..."

Normally I don't even buy foods from the canteen or in any restaurants. I'd just buy coffee and school supplies. I'll eat heavy foods like Rice when I'm done with school.

I boarded a Jeepney. Its quite cramped, but I don't want to be late anymore. (I was not even late by the slightest. School starts at 7:00 A.M. and I boarded the Jeepney like 6:00 A.M). There were some students of the same school in which where I studied. I think one of them was 7th grade and the other is a fellow 10th grade. I don't personally know him but he's a known speaker from one of the clubs. I think it was the SSLG club. I arrived at my destination, left the Jeepney and went to school.

I also bought a folder out of free will. Maybe it will be of use in the future.

"You can do this, Lein. You studied and reviewed for everything."

My school schedule composts of around 7-9 subjects. each one is around 45 minutes to 1 hour long. Its bearable, but sometimes overwhelming. My first subject was the special language subject, Nihongo.

Yes, I study at a Public Special Science school. It's really far from my home so I both ride a tricycle and a Jeepney to go there. The ride is usually 20-30 minutes. It's one of the reasons why I want to always come early to school.

Our Nihongo teacher surprised us with a seatwork. It has one hundred items in it, and it's mostly for translating and writing the English words from the hiragana writings.

One would say that this should be easy because I studied the same language before, but no. By a longshot as well. I neglected Nihongo because I never liked it, I did not memorize all of the Hiragana characters. I guess this was my punishment. I did managed to answer a few, maybe one-thirds of everything, which is a lot considering the answers I managed to look at my classmates.

1 hour later, we passed our papers and next comes Enhanced Science. I was expecting for a quiz to happen, but none. Instead, we did a lesson and a group activity. It was an easy one, and we get recitation chips after presenting. It was a breather from the first subject.

We then get a 20 minute break. It's always welcome in this hellhole of a school. My classroom was situated near the girl's bathroom. So I had to do the walk of shame pass all the other sections to get to the boy's bathroom. I'm not complaining though.

Every time I walk to the Boy's Bathroom, I usually have some friends to join me. It was some sort of Toxic bromance that everyone accepts nowadays, me included. This time, I was accompanied with two of my friends. Let's call the first one Robert and the second one Palma.

Robert was, in my eyes, a very smart student. He is a friend of few words and usually aces the quizzes and seatworks the teachers give. Though he is not the talkative type, he can somehow find the best times to use the best roasts known to man. Palma on the other hand, is the complete opposite. He's very sociable and knows how to make friends. Though he sometimes teases me like giving me the middle finger or by making aggravating faces or by calling me mean names, I still think that it's a well known relationship between bros since I also do the same, and many other boys in my class do that as well.

I would always go to the bathroom and pee because my classes can go for a lot of hours and asking the teacher for me to go to the bathroom is quite embarrassing, but that is just half of the reason onto why I frequently go to the Boy's Bathroom.

The other reason is that I get the chance to glance at someone from the neighboring section. I'll call her Roki. Roki is a close friend of mine, I kind of liked how easygoing, sociable and relatable she is. Though not romantically or anything, I admired her study regime. I think of her as my example to strive for better. She's probably one of the major reasons why I haven't went to the wrong path and become more of a douche (lol).

Roki's seat is situated somewhat close to the door, so it's easy to spot where she is. I usually just take a quick glance before leaving, and actually go to the Boy's Bathroom with the bros.

The bathroom is usually always occupied for some reason, so it takes a good while for me to finish.

After that, I would go back to my section and study what there is to study because chances are, there will be a quiz in the next subject period.

Fun fact: I have been playing Roblox for over a Decade.
