UNFORTUNATE

CHAPTER 6

I booked the tickets for the movie in advance for tonight, like this we don't have to pay any extra money for snacks while watching, it's included and I also made a reservation at a restaurant in the same mall.

I went to cook something for myself as I hadn't eaten anything yet, made some fried tofu with curry and rice which was much like a staple food to me and easy to cook too.

While I was digging into my food I was watching the new series that was getting streamed.

The actor always reminds me of Yeong-su.

Yeong-su used to love eating the curry and rice made by me, he always said that he had eaten many handmade curry and rice but mine tasted something unique and I always used to reply him"Leora's magic" and shake my hands. We both used to laugh at this . I miss those moments.

All I wished now was Yeong-su getting a bail, I believe that he was innocent, I just didn't have any evidence to prove him innocent in the scene.

I realized, you never understand the worth of a person when he or she is with you, it's always in his or her absence ,when you understand what they mean to you.

Although I was quite happy that day , something really felt off and I never understood what it was. After finishing my dinner, I washed my dishes and continued watching the drama. Time passed by and I had fallen asleep.

Suddenly someone rang the bell, and I fell of the couch.
"I am hundred percent sure I am going to break my back very soon. ", I said while I was in pain and then ran to check who rang the bell.

Just before opening the door, I paused, I remembered that incident.

What if he is back again?
Did he find my new house too?

These thoughts crossed my mind and I started panicking. I checked the timing, it was the time when I usually receive water bottles for the day. I opened the door and once I saw the bottles I felt relieved. As I was picking up the small cartoon, my eyes feel on the staircase going down the stairs. There was someone standing there. I couldn't seem to wait and think of anything at that moment , I went inside and immediately locked the door.

Is he back again? Is he really, I mean..
I couldn't help myself anymore, tears gushed out my eyes..i bent down , covered my eyes, controlling myself not to hurt myself in any way.

"Why me? Just because I didn't accept his proposal?"

There was no one who could help me at that moment .

That guy was wearing the same cap he wore the last time, I saw him. It was of New York Yankees and black in colour. I mean , I kind of know someone who either had this cap or has been gifted by me. I just tried ignoring it and went to have a glass of water.

Then I realised that, the day I have been given to join was the day I had planned to meet Yeong-su.

I was confused what to do because I wanted to meet him, I am eagerly waiting to meet him but it's important to join too. I sighed .
"Why is my life so complicated?". This time rather than crying I laughed.

My mobile vibrated, as I checked it was an e-mail from Sephora cosmetics.

They had sent me a book which had all the information about the cosmetics of this brand, and they requested me to go through that book before joining in.

I think joining in is more important than meeting him because I will eventually meet him some other day , once I join . Thinking like this the time went on passing and when my eyes suddenly fell on the wall clock, it was already seven p.m. and I had one more hour , I got up and went to take a shower. After taking a shower, I brushed my hair and then I went to my closet room. I wanted to wear something which I haven't worn for a long time, while looking at those outfits I finally found a creamy coloured coat like dress , with which I wore a turtle neck shirt , knee length boots and left my hair open .
