Dear Diary,
Ugh, honestly, today was such an effort. I'm so tired from last night and it's only 4.30 right now and I usually write to you later at night, but I think I'm going to go to bed at 6pm.
No more letters came today, but a text did. Right as I walked through the front door after school. It was enough to scare me to life, even though I was ready to curl up into a ball and die. It said, 'Open the damn letter, Holly.' So as I'm writing this right now, I have the letter sitting beside me. I want to open it, but I'm really scared. You know what? I'm gonna do it. Here I go.
Oh god. This is what it says:
'Holly Campbell. Or should we say, Holly Woods? Our names are Alice and Peter Woods, and you are our daughter. Tiffany and Ben Campbell are kidnappers. They stole you from us. You're ours. All these years, we've been trying to figure out a way to get you back to us; we've spoken to Tiff and Ben and they have refused to give you up, or even tell you the truth. So we thought, why not tell you ourselves? Holly, we miss you, our darling girl. We just want you to be ours again. It would be great if you could reply to our text message. Love from, Mum and Dad xoxo.'
Um.
What?
What am I supposed to think of this? What do I do with this information? Is it even true? What if it is? Oh my God. I want nothing more than to have not opened this letter. But what if they had done something bad if I hadn't opened the letter? But then again, if they are my real parents, why would they do something bad?
I can't deal with this. I need to get the pictures of them again, compare them to my face.
Ok, so I got the pictures of their faces and put them up aside pictures of mine. I have the same eye shape and face shape as Alice, and the same nose as Peter, but other than that, I look nothing like them. Still, a mixture of their features does match my face. But I'm not sure. Should I talk to Mum and Dad? Did they actually kidnap me? No, surely not. Surely.
Surely.
