It's the year 2025, and the Great Asian War (GAW) has erupted, plunging Asia into chaos. In this devastating conflict, many families make the heartbreaking decision to send their children to Europe, hoping for their survival. The war, involving major superpowers—Japan, South Korea, North Korea, and China—fueled by complex alliances and rivalries, intensifies rapidly.

As the conflict spirals, the international community grows desperate. NATO proposes the "Peace World" treaty in late 2025, aiming to broker peace. However, rather than easing tensions, the treaty exacerbates hostilities, leading to a global conflict. The Great Asian War escalates into World War III.

Two bloody years later, with cities in ruins and millions dead, the world faces exhaustion and dwindling resources. Secret diplomatic negotiations gain traction, and by 2027, a fragile ceasefire is reached. The war ends, leaving the world in shambles.

In the aftermath, Europe experiences profound changes. The influx of Asian refugees boosts the continent's labor force, leading to a swift recovery. Seizing this opportunity, the EU transforms the restoration effort into a revolutionary economic strategy. Investing in technological advancements and restructuring industries, Europe emerges as a global leader. The EURO surpasses the Dollar to become the world's most valued currency.

A surprising development follows: Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands, all heavily impacted by the war and receiving many refugees, decide to merge into a single nation, the Benelux. This new powerhouse quickly rivals major economies like France and Germany, recovering as one of the fastest-growing regions in the world.

Just eight years after the war's end, the world is flourishing once again, with Europe at its center of recovery. However, one crucial aspect had been overlooked in the global revival: sports. The sports world, like many other industries, had collapsed during the conflicts.

To address this, major sports federations worldwide united to create a solution: the Top Sports School of the Elite (T.S.S.E). This global initiative aims to restore the shattered sports world. A total of 96 T.S.S.E facilities will be built, with each of the six continents hosting four countries, each containing four T.S.S.E schools.

The participating countries are:

Europe: France, England, Benelux, and Spain.

Africa: Morocco, Congo, Senegal, and Ethiopia.

South America: Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Chili and Bolivia

North America: The USA, Canada, Mexico, and the newly formed country of Texas.

Asia: South Korea, India, Japan, and Turkey.

Oceania: Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Kiribati.

At the T.S.S.E, ten sports will be featured: Volleyball, Basketball, Hockey, Baseball, Tennis, Boxing, Cricket, Swimming, and Football. Each year culminates in the "T.S.S.E Games," which are structured uniquely over three years:

Year One: Schools compete domestically to become the best in their country.

Year Two: The top schools from each country face off in the Continental Cup to determine the best team on their continent.

Year Three: Continental champions compete in the T.S.S.E World Championship to crown the best team in the world.

This multi-year competition not only revitalizes sports but also fosters international camaraderie and excellence.

All matches in the T.S.S.E tournaments will be broadcast live on television, offering die-hard sports fans something to look forward to during these challenging times.

The T.S.S.E program was approved in June 2035, with construction of the facilities expected to take two years. The inaugural season is set to begin in October 2037. Leading up to the season, September 2037 will be dedicated to the T.S.S.E entrance exams. Talents aged 17 to 19 will have the opportunity to participate in these rigorous exams, which will test both their athletic abilities and general knowledge.

The entrance exams will consist of:

Practical Test: Evaluating physical skills and sports performance.

Written Test: Assessing general knowledge and theoretical understanding of sports.

Only the most elite athletes will pass these exams, ensuring that the T.S.S.E programs feature the highest caliber of talent.

During the two-year construction period, specialized T.S.S.E scouts will undergo intensive training to identify and recruit top athletic talent. A major recruitment event will take place in the summer of 2035, marking the official start of this process.

At this event, scouts will travel across the globe to uncover hidden talent for their respective T.S.S.E facilities. Each sport at every facility will have one dedicated scout, totaling ten scouts per facility. This means that each country will have four scouts per sport, ensuring comprehensive coverage and recruitment for all disciplines.

Among the scouts is Defne Ayuda, a football scout for the T.S.S.E program in León, Spain. She embarks on a mission to Benelux in search of exceptional talent. Her target is Kamado Rochfort, a promising athlete she hopes will become a key player in the T.S.S.E's new era of sports.

Will she succeed?
