Time flew by. October turned into November then November turned into December and now it was early January. The past couple months went by really well. I had met some really nice and amazing people and made alot of friends, in and out of the industry. I had spent halloween in LA at many parties getting a little bit too drunk. I wasn't a huge drinker but the occasion, or occasions felt right. I then went back to Boston for thanksgiving which went well. I was finally reunited with my family again which I had been practically praying for since I landed in LA. Then I came back for 2 weeks and then went back for Christmas and now I was back in LA again. It was slightly confusing and pretty expensive but it was worth it and always would be.

I wrapped myself up in a new christmas blanket which I got when I went on my winter shopping spree. I told myself that I needed to buy another blanket even though I already had like 50 scattered around the house. I sat on the couch and turned on the tv and put on a movie. As the heat of the blanket started to dawn on me I took it off then about 20 minutes later I got cold and put it back over me. I couldn't help but feel bored. I was ahead of filming schedule because I managed to get alot of content down in Boston and I never edited anything thanks to my amazing editor Cassie so there wasn't much more. I mean emails but I can't be bothered to be honest. I needed something, anything. Like someone was listening to my prayers, I got a phone call. I picked it up quickly without looking at who it is just desperate to do something other then sat wrapped up on my couch.

"Hello?"

"Hey Lyss whatcha doin?" Tara asked

"Nothing much just watching a movie"

"I'm throwing a party tonight you should like tots come" I thought about her offer. I wasn't really a huge party person. Pretty much stopped going after highschool but then again I had literally nothing to do for properly the rest of the day and I was dying to go out anyways.

"Yeah sure!"

"Alright! I'll text you the address, Party starts at 8, I'll be looking forward to seeing you there miss anderson"

"You too miss yummy" I replied with a laugh. I heard her laugh on the other line. We finished talking and I hung up with a grin on my face. I couldn't help but feel excited. Her parties were always fun and she was a great host. I turned off the tv and folded up the blanket and put it in my blanket basket which was my prized possession at this point. I did some cleaning around the place mostly because for some reason I found it enjoyable recently. I just liked the feeling of being in a clean house but I liked when there was some mess so that I could use it as an excuse to clean. Once I was done I walked out to the balcony of my apartment and looked down at the view. The sun had already set and the sky was clear so the stars were visable. I sat down on a deck chair which I was given as a house warming gift by my neighbor and grabbed the book which I left on the table which I had forgotten about. My neighbor was nice, his name was Andrew, he was a builder and was a father with a small boy called Oliver who was about 3. He had helped me settle in by showing me around some places and eventually he became an olde brother to me. I had always thought about how it would be like to have a sibling as an only child and now I guess god fullfilled my wishes.

As I read and looked at the view it was already 6 pm. I had been outside for about an hour and a half. I got up and walked into my room to find an outifit. I looked through and took out a black satin bodycon dress and a cropped white sweater to wear ontop. I changed into my outfit, put on a pair of heels and looked at myself in the mirror. I looked really good which made me feel really good. I sat down and began to do my makeup, putting on some eyeliner and eyeshadow which I rarely ever did but I might as well go all out for tonight, then curled my hair and did a half up half down look. I stuck in a couple bobby pins, brushed out some of the curls then put in hairspray and called it a day. It was about 7 when I was fully done, I grabbed a small purse and walked around picking up bits and stuffing them inside just incase I needed them at some point. Once I was done I called a cab and gave them the address. I hopefully wasn't going to be too early

Once my taxi arrived I got in and went to the venue. It appeared to be a fancy club as the venue looked really nice. I payed and got out then made my walk towards the party. I could already hear loud music blasting from inside and I saw 2 girls walking out incredibly drunk with ciggerates in there hands, stumbling around almost falling and laughing there heads off. I got passed them and slipped in hoping not to bump into anyone, how awkward would that be?

I did end up bumping into someone. Someone I never thought or hoped to see in a million years...
