"This is my brother, Jon." Aaron introduced as his brother held a hand out to shake Ari's. The couple were having lunch with Aaron's family. Aaron place his hand on the Ari's lower back and guided her to a seat.

She thanked him as he pulled her chair out and sat beside her. Aaron smiled at her as they tuned into the current conversation.

"So Ari, how old are you, if you don't mind me asking?" Aaron's mum asked the girl.

"Oh, I'm 24. My birthday's in April." Ari smiled as Aaron placed a comforting hand on her leg, sensing how nervous she was.

"Ah, lovely. And how long have you been in theatre?" The older woman smiled.

"I made my West End debut as Christine in the Phantom of the Opera when I was 18." The girl smiled.

Aaron was happy with how well Ari got along with his family, and when it was time to leave, he couldn't stop smiling.

"What?" Ari laughed at the stupidly wide grin on his face.

"Nothing, it's just you're so perfect."

Ari scoffed a laugh, "I'm not perfect." She stopped to face him.

"Yes you are." He tucked a loose hair behind her ear, "You're perfect for me."

"Ew, corny." Ari laughed and started to walk away but Aaron grabbed her waist and lifted her from the ground.

Their laughter echoed as they walked back to their apartment.

"I can't believe I have my first gig tomorrow." Ari sighed as she chucked the keys on the kitchen counter.

"I'm proud of you. I'll be front row." Aaron smiled, taking his coat off and hanging both his and Ari's in the closet.

She smiled and sat down on the couch, "I love you. I still can't believe I live here."

"I can't believe you live here." Aaron replied, sitting down beside her and placing a kiss on her cheek, "Right, what do you wanna watch?"

"Uh, 10 things I hate about you?" Ari suggested, seeing it was her favourite movie.

Aaron faked being offended by her suggestion, "You have 10 things you hate about me?"

"Shut up, you know what I mean." Both of them laughed as Ari hit Aaron lightly with a pillow.

"Don't start, I'll get you back." He warned her as he pressed play on the movie. However, she didn't listen and hit him a second time and before she knew it, Aaron had her pinned down and he was tickling her.

She found it hard to breathe and struggled to get words out, "Aaron— Ar— Stop!" She laughed.

He eventually stopped and she took a deep breath which just made Aaron laugh harder. It was moments like these where everything was just perfect.
