It was when he and Lily were going through a rough patch, they hadn't been talking for two weeks. One night James got sad and drunk, he met a woman and they spent a night together.
After that it seemed to be a wake up call for the man, and he went to Lily, told her everything and they got back together, and got married. Their lives were happy and perfect.
Till the woman showed back up, visibly pregnant as well.
She told James and Lily who she was, Aphrodite, Goddess of Love and Beauty. She told them that by law she couldn't keep the baby, and had to give her up. So they took the girl and raised her as their own. Belle was her name. It was a flower, following in the steps of the Evan's family and naming the girls after flowers, and it meant beauty, after Belle's birth mother.
And when Belle was a year old they ended up going into hiding due to Voldemort being after her, and wanting her dead. But it did nothing due to the fact their friend, Peter, sold them out and got them killed.
Belle went off to live with Lily's sister and her husband and son.
When Belle was 11 she got a letter saying that she was invited to attend Hogwarts, school of witchcraft and wizardry. She then learns about Voldemort and his minions and how they were trying to kill her.
Over time she gained three friends. Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and Dylan Brown, half brother of Lavender Brown. Dylan was also the son of Hermes.
So when the two of them ran into each other at Camp Half Blood in America over the summer, it was easy for them to stick together over what was coming, all the while they made friends with two other Demi Gods, Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase, and a Satyr, Grover Underwood.
Life was crazy for the friends, and it wasn't planning on calming down any time soon.
Maybe that's why it was easy for them when they fell in love with each other.
They just hoped that love was enough for nothing to come between them.
