"You're a fucking nuisance, you know that right?"

My eye twitched from the insult, but I bit back devious words and let him continue. "I let you come with us, trusting you to not be reckless but then you went and endangered all of us by doing something so..dum- fucking ridiculous!"

His words were roared out in annoyance and anger, echoing around the small room. He paced around the tiny space while staring at the ground, disregarding my tied up figure. My hands were held tightly behind my back while my body settled all its weight on my knees, he wouldn't let me slouch or seem dazed off. He made sure I heard his concerns, this was my punishment.

My punishment for pouncing on Kuroo with an empty wine glass, could you blame me though? Someone who had threatened to kill me and someone who HAS killed other people was acting all innocent as he sipped his drink with a dumb look on his face, so no, I don't regret my actions.

It definitely caught them all off guard since I seemed fine with my situation, but they didn't know me, what bubbled under the surface..

So maybe I had to much to drink, but I've been worrying about my life since my encounter with him. Though I should be thanking Daichi, if he didn't pull me off of his body then Kuroo would've definitely killed me.

I had the reminder of what could've dangerously escalated on my shoulder. A painful bruise grew there, reminding me of what I did and what he could've done If he had more time. I saw the fire in his eyes after processing the shards of glass that dug into his neck and the punches that I threw to his face.

At the end of last night I was lucky to even still be alive, yes I did jeopardize the safety of my new 'gang' but what did Kuroo expect me to do? Leave without letting him feel my wrath? Well..I was just lucky to have escaped his, barely.

"Listen to me. Fuck Y/n, stop zoning out for Gods sake and pay attention." His tone was sharp, paired with a threatening glare. That was enough to make me utter an apology under my breath.

"He could've killed you, any longer and you would've been out. Lord..we were doing so well being civil with them and then you had to go and ruin that.." His jaw clenched and his fists curled, he had the urge to punch something and I just hoped it wasn't me.

I felt bad, not about attacking Kuroo but that my actions were all being thrown to him for responsibility instead of me. "Boss..I didn't mean for it to all be on you, let me take responsibility." I pleaded, but it was like my words went through his ear then out the other.

"If I did then you would be dead Y/n, how many times do I have to explain that?.." His fingers massaged his temple before he sat down at a chair not to far from me.

I didn't know how to respond and just looked around the room, it seemed so much more interesting in this moment. Though I frowned when realizing that this was once again the same place I was brought for all my other sins.

"As much as I would like to keep you here to think about what you did, I unfortunately need you in the race and can't let any members fall behind." I perked up at his words, I was finally gonna learn how to drive professionally. My heart started beating faster when just imagining the thrill.

"That wouldn't be so bad..being in these restraints for to long hurts like hell anyways." I chuckled, trying to lighten the dense atmosphere as I gave a weak smile. His lips did not move upwards at all, giving me unamused look before standing back up.

"You're lucky you're a girl, or I would've done more then just tie you up." His statement made me tense up, making me give a weary look to him. He leaned down and his fingers brushed against my neck and arms when untying the seriously good knots.

"Don't move so much." His husky voice was almost like a whisper, making a chill run down my spine. He was to close for comfort, everything was happening to fast. Once feeling my body parts getting loosened from the rope I quickly moved them to a more comfortable position.

"I have some experience with racing, shouldn't be that hard." I said to myself when stretching and standing up, yet it was like what I said was equivalent to driving a knife into his chest. "Are you serious?" Was all he said, his tone deadass.

I paused, "Uh..I guess not." I hesitantly continued my stretches, hoping I wasn't going to get another lecture. "I don't know what kind of racing you were in before but this is different, this is illegal and dangerous."

"No one cares about safety, just money, you need to learn that. People won't let you get ahead just because your a woman or let you get in front of them. They won't hesitate to make you crash for the win, it's dangerous, just giving you a heads up because there's no getting out of this."

My jaw tightened at his words but all I had the strength to do was nod, I knew he was right, and that was scary. I had to be committed in order to win, in order to not get hurt and have an early death. "Right..let's go now, shall we?" He nodded at my words before going out the door, with me close behind.

The walk out of the long hallway and to the outside was short, I was thinking about all the possibilities that could happen. Once I opened the front door and exited the building, a gray motorcycle was blocking my path. The black cursive words on it made me pause before shifting over to Daichi. "I'm guessing this is yours?"

"Yup, hop on." He sat down and put on his helmet before turning the key and starting it. I contemplated my choices, I thought I could still run away and get help, the way I was so wrong. "You have nothing that should be occupying your thoughts, get on."

His voice was more stern, signaling that he was gonna get more aggressive if I didn't obey. I inhaled some air sharply before slowly getting on, my waist close to his. I didn't have a helmet so I could only hope his broad back would shield me from flying debris.

He revved, his hands tight on the handles. "Hold on, Y/n." The velvet voice of his made me want to melt, but I couldn't. I stayed strong and wrapped my arms around his waist, my face burned up from embarrassment of being so close to him.

The embarrassment faded once we quickly dashed around trees, it was now mainly thrill I felt. A weak smile took over my frown. The wind ran its hands aggressively through my h/c hair the longer I stayed sat.

Right now all the thoughts of this week vanished, I could enjoy this moment without realizing I was riding with my kidnapper. The race, something that I didn't think much about was something I was soon to enter.

Right now is when I needed to pray that the muscle memory would come back and let me clutch the race, anything to stay longer in this body. Either that or I could do something reckless, I was starting to get good at that. Make an attempt to leave, something to help.

Yachi, Kuroo, two people I needed to be on the lookout for when the event starts, in a few days I'm guessing. Yachi, because I want my explanation still and that she might be my only way to escape, if she finally gives me the trust that I always had in her.

Kuroo, because I now posed as I bigger threat to him than ever, I almost 'killed' him at the bar last night and I know that he is itching for revenge. Now he knows I won't hesitate, I especially won't if he tries anything.

The sharp turn made me leave my thoughts, the bike drove through broke down roads and I could tell we were almost there. The adrenaline ran heavily through my veins, I was scared yet excited. I wanted to just see if I could keep this up, keep my heart beating this whole week.

That was all I wanted, if I couldn't then what kind of person would I be?
