Kayla wakes up to the sound of her alarm. she lazily takes a look at her phone to see the time. she groans remember that today is the reunion day of habibah sekalian.
"damn it , let's go." she forced herself to get out of bed and make her bed before getting ready to shower.
after she's done showering , she video calls her friend groups while getting ready. all of their face lights up inside the small screen of her phone along with her.
"yo." said Mai.
"Kaylaaaaa , are you getting ready ?" said Riana.
"..." Aisy usually doesn't open her camera , she just sits there silently.
"Kayla , what clothes are you wearing today ?" said Tasha.
Kayla just smiles through the screen , happy seeing her friends face , first time in the morning.
She then answers them while still getting ready. "hey guys , I'm just getting ready , you guys done yet or not ? I'm wearing a dress today , the matching one we got at that time."
"oh oh , I'm wearing that too. looks like we're matching today !! heheheheh" Tasha face lighten up , happy that she coincidentally match with Kayla.
"good then , we can take a picture later." Kayla just smiles.
"awhhh , I wanna match too. I'm gonna wear that one too." Riana immediately go somewhere , disappear from her phone screen.
"yeah yeah , let's just all wears matching dress today , what you guys think ?" Kayla ask the other two.
"I'm good with anything , as long you guys don't demand that much. lemme go check if I already wash it or not , it might still be in the machine or something." Aisy talk after awhile and disappear from the mic too.
"uhh , uhh , I'm not sure actually if the dress still fits. maybe I should just wear something else." said Mai , not sure about the dress actually.
"but , but , you must wear the matching dress , Aisy already agrees with us , so you have to, okay. even if it's a bit tight , just wear it , I can alter it for you later."
"okay ..." Mai then goes off the camera for a bit to try the dress. . . . after chitchat a bit , they all wear the same matching dress with each of their individual colours and end the calls to go and meet at the designated places.
each of them owns a car now , but to save money , they all do car pools , each with their partner.
Kayla rides with Aisy ( since their house is close by ) , Tasha rides with Riana , while Mai rides a motorcycle since her house is a bit far from them.
Kayla arrived first with Aisy , waiting for the others to come first.
"should we get off or stay in the car ?" Kayla ask while taking off her seat belt.
"I don't know , it's up to you." Aisy said while scrolling her phone.
Kayla just looks at her deadpanned , unamused by her words. every time she asked something , she always answered like that , she just used to it already.
Aisy looks up from her phone and talks to Kayla "what ?"
"wanna stay in or go outside ?"
"I don't know. suit yourself." Aisy is always the type that doesn't care and always goes along with everything , tho it's getting annoyed sometimes whenever she in this kind of situation.
Kayla just sigh. "let's stay in the car for a bit then if they're late for a bit , we get down first. . . . finally , the rest of them arrived and they all got inside the cafe.
"wow the cafe looks so pretty , let's take a pic Rian." Kayla drags Riana into the corner to take pic.
"wow not bad , looks like my money might fly today." Mai said while reviewing the dessert display on the counter.
"why would you say that Mai ? you know we all be able to afford it by ourselves unless you want to ..." Tasha grins
"unless what ? me buying it for you ? I knew it already , you're gonna ask for it. hurry up guys , it's on me today." Mai jokingly said that to Tasha , she just smiled sheepishly.
they all hurry over to the counter and choose the dessert one by one. . . . they take a seat near the window , wanting to feels the vibes of sitting near the garden. the cafe itself is not that bad , it's actually really pretty.
"wanna hear some tea ? I've got a lot." said Kayla with a knowing smiles on her face.
"what is it , what is it ?" Riana ask excitedly.
"it's all started ..." Kayla began to tell her story.

from here on , I'll be continuing the story for a few chapters , according to the 'tea' Kayla said. so , this is the end for the first chapter. yeayy. *they're all in their twenties in this one*
