Meeting him

"Hey , get up weakling." 

"Is he dead? Damn lets get out of here."

"Huh doesn't look dead too me , fuck this bastard , even his family doesn't care."

The voices coming from the monsters who have always haunted him, bullied him constantly made his head hurt. Davin couldn't see them anymore. His eyes were probably swollen and bruised. He only wished to survive this time , but didn't feel like he could. 

"Leave me. Why do you always do this to me ? I am also your classmate just like others. You think I have no right to be here at this prestigious school for the rich , but then why does the scholarship system exist in the first place?" 

"Hey he is talking , phew I thought he was probably in hell by now , hahah sick bastard. You think you are the same as us just because you study a little better?"

"Hey that's enough . If he really ends up dead my father will have to clean up after this mess. Lets go , anyways he will probably remember this graduation day for the rest of his life . Fucking lowlife."

Suddenly they hear a car honking from outside the alleyway. 

"Fuck who is at our tail now , what the fu-"

"Is that who I think it is ?"

"Its the second princess from McMillan family , woah" 

"Princess what are you doing here near this disgusting place?" 

Ada: Shut up you rats. 

Ada: Hey you the one lying near the drain , can you still get up ? Hm doesn't look like you can . Thomas please help him up and put him inside my car. 

Thomas, who is Ada's bodyguard and driver helps Davin up and settles him inside the car. 

Ada: bloody hell , I just saw him yesterday and liked him, how the fuck did you rats turn him into such a mess? Don't let me see your disgusting asses again or it might need more than just your fathers to clean the messes I will make out of you fools. 

They grunt and let out noises of annoyance but retreat from there.

Ada: Thomas take us back to my mansion, he needs to visit the hospital but the doctors their will inform father. I gotta call Alex (Ada's private doctor, he is not connected to the family doctors of McMillan family). 

On reaching her private mansion, Ada immediately requests for Alex to come and give Davin all the necessary treatment. Alex bandaged his broken ribs and disinfected his wounds.

Alex: You should nurse him up , he is a little malnourished. I know you have taken a liking to him, its rare for you to indulge in stuff like this and even weird that you brought him home directly. Anyways put ice pack on his eyes , they aren't harmed , just swollen. The bruising should go away in a matter of weeks. 

Ada: Alright leave now , and remember don't you dare open your mouth to my dad , that old man is very cunning. I trust you only because you refused to associate yourself with my family doctors. 

Alex: Sure ma'am , how cruel hahaha.

Alex takes his leave. Ada stays by Davin's side applying ice pack to his swollen purple eyes. The next morning Davin wakes up groggily to find himself in a completely different world than his. 

Davin: *I have no idea what's going on , wasn't I dead? No I remember someone cursing out at me , no cursing out at those bullies.*

Ada : oh you are awake, don't be scared , I won't hit you or anything so chill , you are injured don't sit up so fast. 

Davin: Where am I ? Who are you ? Did you save my life ? Why ?

Ada: Alright calm down , I will answer all your questions.  umm I did save your life technically, well you are safe now , so don't worry. And I am Ada McMillan. 

 Davin: McMillan? Wait that McMillan family ? woahh you are royalty . Wait I don't understand anything , why did you save me yesterday? 

Ada: because I felt like saving you , don't worry you can rest here until you recover and then we can have a talk about how to proceed with your life. You can stay with me , if you want you know. Uh was that too sudden? haha we will talk about other stuff later , for now just focus on recovering.

Davin: I don't understand why you are doing this , but I am certain about one thing, there is no free kindness in the world. You must a motive behind saving me. Are you planning to sell me or something?

Ada: Hey hey what do you think of me huh? I am not into human trafficking , even though my father practically runs this city , my family isn't involved with drug dealing and human trafficking.

Davin: then why ? and what talk do you want to have with me ? that sounds sus you know uh Ada.

Ada: haha are you curious ? I told you to focus on recovering , I wont have that talk with you right now , so rest without worries. I know about your family condition , I know they don't treat you well enough to be called family. 

Davin: How did you ? Are you investigating me ?

Ada: Davin that's truly a stupid question, did you think I would bring a random person to my private mansion without getting to know about them? Anyways you are safe ,though you are right, I do have an ulterior motive behind bringing you here, but whether or not I can act upon it depends totally on your decision, I won't force you for anything.

Davin: I knew it , I am not that stupid enough to believe you are truly so kind.

Ada: That's enough chit chat , I will be in the room beside this one. Call me if you need anything.

After Ada leaves the room , Davin falls into deep thoughts and falls back asleep after sometime.
