The sun had just begun to rise over Scuttle Town, casting a warm golden glow over the bustling streets. Inside a cozy room on the second floor of a two-story building, an 11-year-old half-genie named Lilly was curled up under her blankets, lost in a dream. The room was filled with soft morning light filtering through the window, making the space feel calm and serene.

From the first floor of the building, where Chiria’s Coffee House was located, a gentle but firm voice called out, “Lilly, time to wake up! Breakfast is ready!”

Lilly groaned, pulling the blankets over her head, trying to ignore the morning. She wasn't ready to leave the comfort of her bed just yet, but she knew that Chiria wouldn't stop until she got up. With a sigh of resignation, Lilly sat up, rubbing her eyes, and slowly made her way downstairs.

In the cozy dining area of the coffee house, the smell of freshly brewed coffee and warm pastries filled the air. Chiria, Lilly’s caretaker, was busy behind the counter, preparing a simple but hearty breakfast. Lilly slumped into her chair, still half-asleep.

“Morning, sleepyhead,” Chiria said with a smile as she placed a plate of warm pancakes in front of Lilly.

“Morning,” Lilly mumbled, her voice thick with sleep.

As she began to eat, Lilly's thoughts drifted to her greatest admiration—Shantae, the guardian genie of Scuttle Town. She admired how Shantae could transform into any animal she could imagine, using her genie powers with such ease.

“Chiria,” Lilly began, “Do you think… Do you think I’ll ever be able to use my genie powers like Shantae does?”

Chiria paused for a moment, noticing the frustration in Lilly's voice. She walked over and sat down next to her. “Lilly, it's not uncommon to have difficulties unlocking your powers. Shantae herself had trouble with her abilities when she was your age. It took her time, patience, and a lot of practice to develop them.”

Lilly looked up at Chiria, her eyes wide with curiosity. “Really? Shantae had trouble too?”

“Of course,” Chiria nodded. “Shantae didn't become the guardian genie of Scuttle Town overnight. It was a journey, just like the one you’re on now. Don’t lose hope, Lilly. Your powers will come in time. You just have to keep believing in yourself.”

Lilly smiled, feeling a little better after hearing Chiria’s encouraging words. She had always looked up to Shantae, but now she felt a renewed sense of determination to unlock her own genie powers, no matter how long it took.

Just as they were finishing breakfast, the door to the coffee house opened, and in walked Shantae, along with her friends, Sky and Bolo. Lilly’s heart skipped a beat. She could barely contain her excitement as she watched Shantae enter the room, her long ponytail swaying with each step.

“Good morning, Shantae!” Chiria greeted them warmly.

“Morning, Chiria!” Shantae replied with her usual cheerful smile.

Lilly watched in awe as Shantae and her friends took a seat at a nearby table. She couldn’t help but feel a surge of admiration for the half-genie who was so confident and strong.

But as the day went on, the peaceful atmosphere of Scuttle Town was shattered. Without warning, an unexpected and sinister presence arrived in the town square. The air grew thick with tension as a dark figure, an evil sage, appeared, accompanied by a young half-genie girl with purple skin and ocean blue hair. She looked to be the same age as Shantae, but there was something unnerving about her.
