Zelda's POV:
After a lot of deep breaths, and eye wipes, I finally stopped crying. I almost cried on the fruitcake. After eating it and thinking about only eating this for the rest of my life, I thought about what we should do next.

"Hey Link, where are we going next?" I asked, all the while licking my lips to get the last of the fruitcake. "I was thinking of going to Hyrule Castle first to scavenge for whatever we can, then heading to Kakariko to see Impa. Is that okay with you?" Link asked, taking the plates and putting them into the Slate.

"Yes, Impa might have something I could wear. I really need to get out of this dress. Who knows, maybe my old diaries are there!" Link looked really guilty at the mention of diaries.

"Link, you read them didn't you?" I asked sternly, praying he would say no. Unfortunately, Hylia wasn't on my side. "Y-yes I did, I'm sorry. I read both." He said guilty.

Oh thank Hylia, he didn't read the secret one where I confessed my love for him. Wait, both still could mean the secret one. "Where were they?" I asked.

"One in your study on the desk, and another on your desk, why?" He finished curiously. "No reason" I dismissed his question as I stood up. He looked incredibly suspicious, Hylia he was so incredibly smart, yet dumb at times.

"Oh, I meant to say this earlier, I have some extra clothes you can borrow," he was trying to be nonchalant about it, but I saw his blush. Unfortunately, I was blushing too.

"O-ok," I replied quietly. He pulled out the slate and started tapping. In a blue flash a set of trousers, and a shirt with what looked like leather straps appeared in his hand.

He handed the clothes to me, before going and chopping down trees. I started to change, before smelling the clothes. They smelled like him... Hylia what am I thinking!

Shaking that thought off like a dog does to water, I finished changing. I wondered why there wasn't a door, Father was always so proper. I would think he would hate living in nature, or even have just a door. Maybe, I never really knew my father?

What if I knew only the shell of him? What if the real him died the same night my mother did? Had I judged him too harshly? Even if I had, he still had no right to treat me like that.

I was broken out of my muse by Link. "Are you done changing?" He yelled. "Yes!" I yelled back. "Alright, I'm ready to leave when you are," he said walking in.

"I'm ready to leave as well, oh, and can you put this in the Shekiah Slate?" I asked, handing him my dirty prayer dress. He tapped a few things and the dress disappeared, I had seen it already, yet it still fascinated me.

"I really don't want to test the Slate's ability to transfer two people, so we'll have to go there by normal means." He said, taking my hand and leading me to the edge of the Plateau.

"Link, can the paraglider even take two people?" I asked, tightening my grip. "You'll have to hang on me," he said, pulling out the paraglider.

My heart skipped a beat.

Link's POV:

As Zelda wrapped her legs around my waist, I couldn't help a blush from spreading across my face. Then she wrapped her arms around my neck and put her head in the crook of my neck.

I felt warmer than Death Mountain's peak in the summer. My grip tightened on the paraglider as I prepared to take off. "Ready?" I said over my shoulder.

"Ready as I'll ever be!" She responded, and with that, I jumped. She yelled in what I guessed was surprise and delight, or at least that's what I hoped it was.

It was roughly the same as one person, but felt better to be able to share it with someone. As we approached the ground, I realized something: It was gonna be hard to land comfortably. I decided I would roll and let her land on top of me.

It would probably be the best thing to do, to keep her safe of course. That's the only reason. We were getting closer, and closer and closer. Until finally my feet hit the ground.

I rolled in a way, that landed her  on top of me. Just like I planned. "Link! Are you alright?" She asked, checking for anything on the ground that could have caused this.

"Yes, this was planned. Zelda, please don't fret." I said with a small smile. "Oh thank Hylia, you scared me! Please don't do that again!" She sighed. "No guarantees!" I said, my smiler growing wider.

She glared at me, then stood up. "One of these days I'm going to kill you, Link" she said, still glaring. "Does this look like a face you could hurt?" I said, giving her puppy dog eyes. "Yes" she replied simply.

I've never been so scared in my life.

Zelda's POV:

Truthfully, I could never hurt his face, puppy dog eyes or not. I love him too much. I helped him to his feet.

He decided to catch a horse. He went for a wild-temperated one to show off. Then he tried to do it with no hands, it didn't end well.

The horse bucked him off onto the ground, flat on his face.

I started laughing so hard, trying not to cry, but failing. He started grumbling about unruly horses and all that. I just laughed harder.

He chased that horse down and tamed it. We decided on just that one, but him being able to protect me better wasn't the only reason. In fact, it was a tiny bonus.

As helped me up onto his lap, he didn't even use his hands to guide his horse. He only used them to wrap around my waist. "Show off!" I teased. "And proud of it!" He said with a smirk. I giggled.

He tapped his boots on the horse, and it took off like a bullet. He must have picked a good one. As Hyrule Field came into view, a familiar chestnut brown horse with a white horse was seen.

"You forget about Epona!" I said, half torn between surprise and laughter. As we came up, she did not look happy. He jumped off, and then pulled me off with him.

"Hey Epona, girl" he said gently with a nervous laugh, walking over to pat her on the neck. She promptly kicked him and walked over to me, nuzzling me with her neck.

I laughed and patted her neck. "Ow! Epona!" Link groaned. Epona just neighed. "What if I gave you an Endura Carrot, would you forgive me then?" She perked up at Endura Carrot.

"You bribe your horse?" I asked with a laugh. "Yes," he said giving her the carrot. "She's very spoiled" she kicked him again. "Ok, ok! I'm sorry!" He pleaded.

We decided to send the other horse off with an apple. Which Epona just had to have an apple. "Spoiled brat" he muttered. She raised her leg, as if to say 'Don't even, boy'.

"I'm sorry!" He said playfully. We hopped on Epona, in the same position as before. Me on his lap, his arms around my waist. It made me feel safe and warm.

With kick of the legs, we were off. This was possibly the fastest I had ever gone, and it was only a trot! I looked up at the castle, regret, fear, and uneasiness brewed in my stomach.

Then, I thought of Link's arms around my waist, and those thoughts dispelled.
