It was four thirty in the morning, and the whole car ride going to Puerto Velero was so quiet that it made my ears want to bleed. Si Abuela ay naka tingin sa kaniyang iPad at may binabasa na isang artikulo parte sa kompanya ni Dad

"Hija, Might I ask, how are things with the Bronwins? I haven't heard about them in a while"

Just the thought of that Family name makes me sick to the core because of their Son. Dahil sa nakita kong video kanina bigla ako nawalan ng gana at hindi na muli makatulog ng maigi I tried looking alive and well for my Abuela so she wouldn't suspect a thing that my mind is circulating on an issue involving my Family

Hindi ko talaga alam paano ko ito sisimulan ayusin, who knows what evil Todd and his Family are plotting against mine. My Father knew the Bronwins to be a proper and respected Family dahil sa status nila sa New York though it got me to remember that the only background we know of them is that they hold large businesses too but that's just it, and the rest is just a big question mark

"Your lover, Todd was it?" She looked at me with a concerning look

"Yes Abuela"

She sighed and crossed her arms, and from the rear view mirror I saw Nero and Zark's reflection, they got the hint that what's about to go down in a conversation with my Abuelita

"They're your Father's business partners right? Your Father trusts too much I've met plenty of their business partners when your Mother was still alive, and none of them passed to my standards, they were all too basic"

My Abuela maybe a kind woman, but when it comes to Family values she's too strict. This is not business she's just talking about, ramdam ko naman na parang may ayaw ito kay Dad, both her and Abuelito. Kaya dati noong bata pa ako kay minsan ko lang makita iton dalawa sa mga business and professional gatherings

And during charity balls or fundraising activities they would either show up unannounced or just send a sum of money to compensate for their absence

"What do you mean Abuela?"

"I don't wanna dwell on the matters on your Father's hands but dear Melzhaine, I hope you will not be like him, regrets always come last"

Hinawakan ni Abuela ang aking mga kamay as if she was looking for assurance in my eyes, I only nod and smiled at her

"We're here"

The car stopped to a large port where yachts float on the vast waters, and from a distance we saw my Abuelito waving from afar holding his champagne glass like a happy man we waved back at him and as I smiled this soon disappeared when I realized he was not alone but with a man I very well know

What the fuck? ano ginagawa niya dito?

"Mi Amor" My Abuela kissed Abuelo on cheek as soon as we boarded the yacht, unexplained emotions and feelings whiz throughout my body

"You've met Mister Ambrose---ah, I almost forgot this is my Granddaughter, Melzhaine" Abuelo pats my shoulder as he pushed me gently closer to Evron to shake his hand

"We've met." I straightforwardly said, looking at his piercing eyes. Tinitigan ako ni Evron ngumisi ito ng parang nagtagumpay siya, is it because he can read me that I have just opened what was contained in that USB?

"Oh really? when was that Hija?" Tanong ni Abuela

"Galvan and I happened to have built a foundation together, we go way back" Evron briefly explained as he chugged down the glass of whiskey he was holding , I watched his Adam's apple bob as he swallowed the burning liquid
