UG Apartments- Rooftop 2:00pm
Clover meets Martlet on the roof of UG Apartments feeling a bit shaken after recent events. Martlet is staring at the CORE until she realises Clover has arrived.

"You made it. Great!"

"The large facility in front of us is the CORE, the main source of power for the Underground. Starlo and Ceroba haven't gone far. I asked around and was told they were headed to New Home, the capital city"

"Whew, it's all settling in now. This is like super intimidating right? Not just me."

"Well...."

Martlet turns to face Clover.

"I don't know when I'll get another chance so I'll say it now: You are a kind soul. One of the best I've met. Left and right you've been beaten a bruised but you stay vigilant. A far cry from what I was taught growing up. Royal Guards were told ad nauseam that humans are the enemy. I only ever heard stories of war and our underground imprisonment. You've changed my mind on humans Clover. You've shown me that humans aren't as bad as Chujin made them out to be. Point is, I'm glad you hopped on my raft."

"I wanted to say something too" Clover responded.

"Yes Clover?" Martlet said with a smile.

"When I fell down here I didn't know what to expect. But ever since meeting you you've always been by my side even in the most difficult situations. I'm going to miss the times we've had together. You helped guide me through the underground, tried to fight for me when I was taken by the Feisty Five. I could name many other things but what I'm trying to say is... thank you Martlet."

Martlet stood there speechless, not knowing what to say.

"I don't know what to say, you really mean all that?"

"Yes I do" Clover responded forming a smile

Martlet felt tears falling down her face.

"I uh... it wasn't a problem"

"I can't take this anymore."

"Come here!"

Martlet pulls Clover into a tight hug which Clover reciprocates. "I'm gonna miss you too Clover."

"I'm gonna miss you too, Martlet,"
New Home- 3pm

Starlo and Ceroba are arguing until Alphys sends a message to her. Clover and Martlet arrive listening in on the conversation.

"Ceroba, I have some good news. Kanako awoke from her coma. I'll bring her over to you in New Home." Alphys then turns to Kanako and says "Hey Kanako, someone wants to talk to you."

"M- mom? Is that you?" Kanako said struggling to speak.

"KANAKO! You're okay! I've missed you so much." Ceroba responds as she bursts into tears of joy. Starlo walks over to comfort her.

"I miss you too, Mom. I want to come home." Kanako responded managing to find her voice again.

"Don't worry, Dr Alphys will bring you to me safely in New Home, alright? See you soon. Oh and Alphys, thank you so much again. You don't know how much this means." Ceroba ended the call, still crying.

Clover and Martlet show themselves to Starlo comforting Ceroba over Kanako's recovery. "Ceroba you need to let this go!" Martlet shouted
