𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽. 𝟭 : Scholarship

Y/N's POV

It was Friday and was I was on my desk noting down whatever the teachers saying until the sound of the bell started ringing through the whole school.

My teacher let out a sigh, "Alright, pack your bags and you may leave for dismissal." Mrs Rin said and all the students immediately packed their backpacks and dashed out of the classroom.

I watched all the students going outside of the classroom, one by one, until there's no one else in the room. I quickly stood up from my chair and exited the classroom and started finding for my friends. After about 5 minutes later I had finally found them, chatting and laughing together, and I quickly approached them.

"Hi," I said, cutting their conversation, and all heads were turned to me. "Yo, wassup." Jaehwan greeted me, and the others eventually did too.

"Guys," I said in a quite sad tone, which made my friend group grow confuse. "Whats up?" One of my friends, Jihoon asked, full of curiosity. "The ceiling." My friend, Yeojin said dryly, which he returned with an eye roll.

"I've got some news to share with you guys," I said, and they all looked at me with furrowed eyebrows. I sighed, "I got a scholarship." I confessed. "Girl, why are you making it sound like it's a bad thing?" Gaeun, another friend of mine. "But the thing is, that it's in Australia." I sighed again while scratching the nape of my neck.

"WHAT?" my friends said in unison the second they found out. "Are you gonna accept it?" Yeojin said, which made me sigh again for the nth time today.

"I don't really have a choice, plus, my mother insisted me on going." I said, which made them a bit upset that I'm leaving. "When are you leaving?" Jaehwan asked me.

I thought about it for a moment until I answered, "In 3 days I'm afraid." I replied, "Well let's make those 3 days the most memorable days!" Gaeun said and started dragging me outside and the others followed behind.

There we are. In front of a mall.

"What are we going to do at the mall?" I asked while turning to my friends. "Well you'll see," Gaeun said while skipping towards the building.

We were too busy staring at the building building that we didn't even realise that Gaeun had dissapeared. We snapped out of our thoughts and quickly entered inside the building.

All of us were panting heavily from all the running, and we just we see Gaeun peacefully going through aisles of clothing. She furrows her eyebrows and looks at us confused, "What happened?" She asked, clearly not getting why are we panting. "WE LITERALLY EXPLORED THE ENTIRE MALL JUST TO FIND YOU BITCH." Yeojin said, still panting.

"Oh," She said innocently while batting her eyelashes, which made all of us cringe in sight.

"But you guys forgive me right-"

"NO!!"

All of us are at the food court, and Gaeun was munching on her food. "Shup up." Jihoon said while giving her a glare. "Never," I just laughed at them, and Jaehwan and Yeojin got back to our table with our drinks. And Gaeun immediately snatched her drink from Yeojin's hands and starts slurping on it. "You're so childish." Yeojin replied and got her drink and started drinking it.

We started to talk about the schools drama, and about a girl in class J-02 who got exposed. "Hey, did you know the girl from class J-02?" Jaehwan said, and we all nodded. "Did you know that she got exposed for cheating on her boyfriend with 2 other guys!?" He continued and we all gasped. "AND THEN WHAT HAPPENED?" I said dramatically. "Well...,"
