I woke up confused and sweating. It felt as if I had just been tossed around in the ocean's waves until I was thrown back up onto the sand. I could hear the pattering of the downpouring rain against the windows of my bedroom. I looked at my clock and saw it read 8:48, I didn't know why I was in bed so early. Confused, I went back to sleep, listening to the rhythm of the rain. What felt like hours later I woke up. Again, my clock read 8:48. I was more confused than ever so I went to my family room to see if I could find my parents, or even my younger siblings. As I looked down the hall, I saw no one there. Continuing my search for my family, I moved into the kitchen. Stunningly there was no one there either. I thought back to earlier in the day trying to figure out if there was a reason I was alone in my home. The day seemed fuzzy, I remembered getting up, eating breakfast, and going to my sophomore home room class. Anything after that is blurry. Maybe Alana, my younger sister had a late night dance recital. Or Aaron, her twin had a band performance. It was hard to remember the schedule of those energetic 10 year olds, when I had a life myself, well sort of. I went to find our family dog, Alaska. As you can probably figure out, my family likes the whole "A" name thing. Austin(my dad) and Angela(my mom), wanted to continue the A tradition. Personally I think it's cheesy, but I guess thats another thing that makes me different from the rest of my family, and the rest of society. Just find them and go back to bed.
