Y/N Y/M/N Tenley inherited some extraordinary gift from her great grandmother - 𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄. Due to her...
WITH great lap for breath, Y/N put up her head from the basin full of water. Her professor, Albus Dumbledore, mirrored her actions, ahis long white beard soaking wet from the liquid.
"Who were they?" young student asked, her Y/E/C eyes inspecting the white-silver vial with craved circle in the middle. She held it closely trying to see if something unusual appeared, but nothing was there.
"That was Percival Rackham, your great great great grandfather along his dear friend Charles Rookwood, miss Tenley. They were professors at Hogwarts," Albus explained, while he dried his beard. "I believe they stored this memory for good reason; probably if someone not chosen tried to emerge on the path with evil intentions, they hoped it will scare them away."
"He was my grandfather? That's who I got my ability from?" Gryffindor girl questioned ignoring professor's idea, her sight moving to look at him. Old man confirmed her thoughts, before he turned around and began to search for exit.
Y/N did so too, her sparkly eyes admirably the architecture around her. Her right hand hid the decorated vial into her crocheted bag, her legs taking her straight forward to back wall, where another misty arch conjured.
She used her free arm and put it through the fog. When light breeze caressed her fingertips, she called out to the Headmaster on the other side of the room.
"Professor Dumbledore, I think I found a way out!"
White haired man strolled to the girl, his now dusty robes flying behind him. His blue-gray eyes curiously observed the other side behind the mist, before he turned to his student with loop sided smile on his wrinkly face.
"Brilliant, miss Tenley, you found our exit," he stated, then he took one last look of high ceiling room. Young girl mimicked his actions, feeling proud about her heritage. Her great great great grandfather built such an astonishing place and it ached her heart she won't ever meet him.
"Shall we?" asked the professor, with kind glint in his eyes. Y/H/C haired girl nodded her head, her body turning away from the room and stopping in front of the foggy exit.
Albus left first, his student right in his back. They traveled from light turquoise marble room into the darkness of the forest near the Hogsmeade station, grandiose silhouette of the Hogwarts in front of them. The night sky was dark blue with millions bright stars and large silver moon.
"We are back at Hogwarts? How?" Y/N asked with tone of surprise.
"Precisely, miss Tenley. I have a feeling they wanted us to be here," Dumbledore answered while he checked his pocket watch. "Right at time for dinner, we should go."
