A few days later, the soft hum of classical music filled Taehyung's office, mingling with the muted sounds of the bustling city outside. He sat behind his grand mahogany desk, swirling a glass of red wine as he gazed out the large window, his mind deep in thought. The sun was setting, casting a warm, golden glow over the skyline and creating an almost serene atmosphere in the room.

Taehyung's phone rang, cutting through the calm. He glanced at the screen, his expression unreadable, before pressing the speaker button and setting the phone down. "Hello, Mr. Detective," he greeted smoothly, his voice carrying a hint of amusement. "Did you find the thing I asked you for?"

The voice on the other end, sharp and confident, replied, "Yes, of course, sir. Your wish is my command."

A slow smile spread across Taehyung's lips as he took a sip of his wine, savoring the taste before setting the glass down. "Oh? Then what is this news you've found, huh?"

Eunwoo, his trusted spy, launched into his report. Though Taehyung didn't utter a word, his eyes narrowed slightly as he listened intently, leaning back in his leather chair. His fingers tapped rhythmically against the desk, a faint smile playing at the corners of his mouth. Whatever Eunwoo was saying seemed to intrigue him deeply.

When Eunwoo finished, Taehyung's smile widened into a satisfied grin. "Nice job," he praised, his voice dripping with approval. "You're going to have a reward for sure. For now, goodbye. I've got things to do.but eunwoo don't tell this to anybody or else yk what I am capable of doing"

The call ended, and Taehyung leaned back, his smirk deepening as he picked up his glass again, the rich red wine swirling hypnotically within. He took another sip, his thoughts turning over the information Eunwoo had just delivered. It was exactly what he had been hoping for—a weapon, subtle yet powerful, to bend Jungkook to his will.

Taehyung set the glass down gently, his smirk still firmly in place. The game between him and Jungkook had just taken an exciting turn. As he sat in his office, surrounded by the trappings of his power and wealth, Taehyung couldn't help but feel a thrill of anticipation. Jungkook had proven to be a worthy adversary, but now, with this new leverage, Taehyung was confident that he would soon have the upper hand.

With a final glance at the sunset, Taehyung turned his chair away from the window, his gaze now focused on the future. "Let's see how you handle this, Jeon," he murmured to himself, a predatory gleam in his eyes. He was ready for the next move, and he was certain it would be one Jungkook wouldn't see coming.

Meanwhile, Jungkook was seated at his sleek desk, lost in the flow of his work on his laptop. The soft glow from the screen illuminated his focused expression, and a contented smile played on his lips. It was a rare moment of calm in the storm that was his daily life, and he relished the peace it brought.

Suddenly, his phone rang, cutting through the quiet of his office. Without glancing at the caller ID, he absently accepted the call, bringing the phone to his ear while still typing with his other hand. "Hello, who's this?" he asked casually, not expecting anything out of the ordinary.

A voice he hadn't anticipated hearing responded, smooth and low, "Hello, this is Kim. Jeon."

Jungkook's fingers froze over the keyboard, his eyes widening in surprise. The smile that had been on his face just moments before vanished instantly. His entire demeanor shifted from relaxed to alert as he dropped everything he was doing and quickly brought the phone closer to his ear. His full attention was now on the unexpected caller. Maintaining a calm exterior, he replied, "A rare occasion, Kim. Why are you calling me?"
