"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE ALREADY!!" National screams through her iPhone, lifting the microphone to her lips to make it louder to the person on the other side of the phone. Before letting the man on the phone answer, she hangs up and falls back on her chair, her hand dramatically placed on her forehead.
"All i wanted... All i wanted was a man who really cared for me..." she says as she feels a cloudy tear fall from her eye.
She blinks a few times before closing her eyes completely and laying back. In the dark screen that was her eyelids, she imagined what it would be like to be with a man who truly loved her. Someone who wasnt her ex, her stalker. someone who wasnt an absolute asshole.
She envisions a beautiful, tall man with a kind face and a smile made of every beautiful stone imaginable. She smiles to herself as she goes deeper into her imagination, thinking about this beautiful man.
National eventually dozes off, slouching into her chair. As shes sleeping, she has this dream about the beautiful man she wishes to have. he has a vague face, but she knows hes beautiful. she has a wonderful time in her dream until she wakes up and finds out it was all a dream.
She sighs and stands up, slowly walking to the bathroom. National looks in the mirror and stares into her own ocean blue eyes, wishing they were his.
As she looks at her phone, checking for any new notifications, she sees one from her class group chat.
"Class, we have a new student joining us today. Please be welcoming when he joins us later today."
"Great. Just the thing i need. Someone NEW." she sighs, rolling her eyes. She turns off her phone and continues getting ready for school.
After she finished her very simple makeup that just lightly accentuates her already perfect features.
She throws on her school uniform which consisted of a navy blue skirt, a white polo and a sleek pair of mary janes. She grabs her keys and walks out the door, in the least of hurries.
As National arrives at the dreadful building, she sees a massive group formed around something. It was unusual for her boring and plain school, so she furrows her brows and jumps out of her car, curiously walking up to the crowd.
She fights her way to the middle to see whats going on when she sees this gorgeous man at the center of it all. National falls into a feeling of deja vu, having flashbacks to her dream. She looks down for a moment after feeling her blushing become visible on her face, just to look back up and notice he was looking back at her. She starts shivering from the intense feeling of attraction she has to this man, and the feeling of his eyes locking right into hers was almost too much. He was so tall compared to her, he was practically towering over her.
National cant help but smile, not sure if its from the intense feeling or just her wanting to be kind.
Then before she knows it, hes pushing his way through to her.
