You had been walking down the hall on your way to your locker to get back to the dorms when you heard a teacher call your name. The student council meeting had run later than expected with summer vacation being a month away and work needing to get done before then. The sun was already setting by the time you dismissed everyone, cascading the hallway with a warm orange glow.

It was one of the general studies teachers who had poked his head out of the office, waving for you.

"L/N, you remember Shinsou Hitoshi, your classmate last year who transferred to the Hero course?" he inquired.

You replied, very curious now, "Yes."

You had been one of the first, if not the first, person in general studies who had talked to the quiet kid. He wasn't very popular within the class because everyone thought he had a strange vibe going on, and got even less popular when he revealed his quirk at the Sports Festival, but you didn't care about that. You had wanted everyone to feel welcome and like they could to talk to you, the class representative, about anything. So, slowly but surely, you had won the purple haired boy's trust - or at the very least, he tolerated you enough to keep talking to you whenever you went to his desk to ask about his day.

What you didn't know was that Shinsou considered you his only friend from his ex-class. At first, he thought you only talked to him out of duty because you were the class rep, but when you still came back over and over again to his boring personality, he felt pathetic that he actually didn't mind if you only talked to him because of that as long as you kept coming around. He felt pathetic that he got a crush on the first girl that paid attention to him, but that was all in the past. With the new transfer, he had interacted with you less, until only a faint memory of that school crush remained.

"Perfect! See," her teacher continued, "I have some of his work and exam results he requested to show his teachers, but I'll be out of town tomorrow and Mr. Aizawa already went home. Can you do me a huge favor and give them to him? He should probably be at his dorm now, right?"

The 2-A dorms were the opposite path of the 2-C dorms, so it'd normally be an inconvenient detour. But, you wanted to catch up with your ex-classmate, who you had only heard of through a meme he sent last week. Plus, you couldn't really say no to your teacher's tired voice...

"I can do that," you agreed.

"Thank you, L/N," he sighed gratefully, "You're a lifesaver. Everything should be in this folder," he said as he handed it over, thanking you again before getting back into the office.

So now, here you were on your way to Heights Alliance, home of the 2-A hero students. You wondered if you'd see the Bakusquad, but remembered Mina had told you they'd be having a gym session together. You hoped Kirishima and Kaminari wouldn't mind you'd be visiting their dorm for the first time without them there, recalling how excitedly they'd been talking about giving you a tour when you'd go this Friday.

Actually, with that in mind, you realized there was a chance Shinsou might be with them at the gym and not at the dorms...

You called him, hoping that the ringing would alert him wherever he was with the urgency of your message.

"Hello? L/N?" his deep voice rang clear but confused. You laughed at this, knowing how weird it was for him to have you suddenly calling for the first time.

"Hey, Shinsou, our teacher, I mean your old teacher, gave me some things to give to you. Are you at the dorms right now?"

"Oh, yeah," he replied.

"Okay, perfect! I'll text you when I'm outside," you said, "See you in a bit."

"Alright."

And, after a few more minutes of walking under the evening sky, you texted your purples-schemed friend that you were here.
