KING AND KNIGHT

" Knight and king, dreaming the same dream, both just as stubborn Escaping to heaven in order to roam with you My princess will not be sad anymore

If I were a king, vengeful and harsh like the mad wind and the wild grass Broken to peices, but as long as you're with me, Everything is the way it was ".

ONLY YOU

It was Monday, already, and the sun hung high over the campus, casting long shadows across the football feild.

Mingyu wiped the sweat off his forehead, feeling the grit of dried mud on his skin as the coach finally blew the whistle, signaling the end of the practice.

The feild, once bustling with activity, now saw players dispersing slowly, dragging their feet towards the locker room. It was half past twelve, and the exhaustion from the intense morning session weighed heavily on everyone.

Mingyu and Chan, walked side by side, after fetching the former’s guitar from the music room. Silence fell while they made their way to the locker room, now.

Some other members of the team were also present inside, as they stopped gossiping the moment they entered.

Chan couldn't help, but break the quietness.

“This was strange“, he started, already taking off his sweat-soaked jersey, “what do you think would’ve happened if Jun had tried something during the practice?”

Mingyu, shirt halfway over his head, paused momentarily. His mind drifted to Junhwi’s animosity which had grown exponentially since he threw Seojun out of the team. Their fallout is what caused him to join hands with his enemy, resulting in the hostility.

“He wouldn't do it infront of everyone”, he replied, voice muffled by his shirt. “Too obvious”.

“You give him too much credit”, Chan scoffed, pulling on his formal shirt with a sharp tug. “He’s the captain now, and has got all the power he needs to make your life a hell. If he thinks ruining your reputation will give him an edge, he won't hesitate”.
