4. Reminiscence

Author's Pov:

"Dad,I can't marry her when she's herself against this marriage. You aren't just forcing me,but her as well. It's completely wrong." Jungkook said to his Father,after the Choi family departed,and the families agreed on giving a second thought to the talk of marriage.

"Jungkook,you cannot stay unmarried forever,can you?And Y/N, she's perfect for you. And my dear,we aren't forcing any of you, it's just that we think you both are perfect for each other."His dad explained to him calmly,while Jungkook was now getting tired of all this. "Dad,I am not ready for marriage yet,please try to understand."

"Jungkook,you are grown up. And you're growing older,at this point,if you do not get married,it would be hard for you to find a girl later in your thirties. You don't have a girlfriend either." Jungkook sighed,listening to his Dad,"I don't have a girlfriend,but there's a girl I love. She's the reason I cannot marry anyone else. No matter how perfect Dr. Choi is. My heart belongs to the girl I fell for." He finally revealed the truth to his father that was only known to his mother initially,"And Who is she?"

He tried recalling her name but failed. All he remembered was seeing her shadow and hearing her beautiful voice that day. "I don't know. I never met her."

"How can you say that you love her when you never met her and don't even know her name?how will you think you will find her?and do you think you will ever be able to recognise her even if you ever met her?Try to understand Jungkook,you aren't meeting her again. Give Y/N a chance,she is a beautiful,yet intelligent woman." He knew his dad was right,but hearing those words from him made him furious that he wasn't ever meeting her again. Never in his life,but that was the truth,and he knew he couldn't deny it.

Dr. Choi looked like a beautiful woman indeed, intelligent too,but he was too much into his woman to give his heart to her. Nevertheless,he had no choice,"Alright. I'll give her a chance." He said,nodding his head. He knew he had to move on from his beautiful woman he hadn't found.

He knew he would never meet her again.
He knew she wasn't his.

But only if he knew.

"Daddy,please,I don't wanna marry him. I am not ready." She hugged her dad. She knew it wouldn't work. She knew she would have to comply with her dad. "My princess,take your time. There's no hurry. You don't have to marry Jungkook if you don't want to. If you have a boyfriend,go ahead and introduce him to us."

"I don't have one,Daddy! I seriously don't wanna get married." She sulked,and her dad patted her head,"Fine,princess. Take your time. There's no rush."

She got up,walking to her room with her head working and thinking about the worst scenarios,what would she do?does she really have to marry?why can't she meet him again?

His voice,when he sang. She remembers how she hid herself behind a pole and listened to his beautiful voice while he was singing her favourite song.
