Chan sat in his President's chair, watching as chaos unfolded in the student council room. His usually tidy and organized space was now a battleground. Papers were strewn across the floor, chairs were knocked over, and in the middle of it all, Changbin and Minho were screaming at each other, their faces flushed with anger.
Changbin hurled a notebook at Minho, who dodged it effortlessly, his smirk only provoking Changbin further. The rest of the council members had wisely retreated to the corners of the room, trying to avoid the flying objects and shouting match.
Chan sighed, resting his chin on his hand as he leaned back in his chair. How did I end up in this situation? he wondered, shaking his head at the absurdity of it all.
Just a few weeks ago, everything had been so... coordinated. The student council was like a well-oiled machine, each member perfectly in sync with the others.
There was Changbin, his Vice President, known for his no-nonsense attitude and sharp mind. If something needed to get done, Changbin was the one to make it happen.
Hyunjin, the Secretary, was the council's creative genius. His meticulous notes and impeccable organization skills ensured that nothing ever slipped through the cracks.
Han, the Treasurer, had a knack for numbers and an eye for detail. The school's budget was always balanced, thanks to his careful management.
Felix, the Public Relations Officer, was the heart of the council. With his infectious smile and friendly nature, he could charm anyone, making him the perfect representative for the student body.
Seungmin, the Event Coordinator, was the one who made sure every school event went off without a hitch. His calm demeanor and attention to detail made him a natural leader.
And then there was I.N, the Communications Officer, who handled all the council's announcements and correspondence with ease. His ability to connect with others made him an invaluable member of the team.
Together, they were a force to be reckoned with. Respected by the students, admired by the teachers—everything ran smoothly, just as Chan had always intended.
Until Lee Minho arrived.
Minho was the leader of the school's famous dance group, a star in his own right. The principal had decided that his presence in the council would help boost student participation in co-curricular activities. It seemed like a good idea at the time.
But Minho was different. He didn't fit into the council's carefully balanced dynamic. He was loud, brash, and had a habit of clashing with just about everyone. And now, here they were, with Minho and Changbin practically at each other's throats.
Chan watched as Minho shot another sharp remark at Changbin, who responded with equal fire. He could feel a headache coming on. This wasn't what he had signed up for when he became President. But as much as he wanted to step in and break up the fight, there was something about the whole situation that made him pause.
It wasn't just the chaos or the shouting—it was Minho himself. There was a wild energy about him, a fierce intensity that Chan couldn't help but notice.
What the hell? Chan thought, shaking his head to clear his thoughts. This was not the time to be distracted.
Taking a deep breath, he stood up, ready to restore order in the council room. But as he walked toward the arguing pair, he couldn't help but wonder just how much more complicated things were about to get.
