Introduction

The St. Lanterne's estate is white mansion with navy spires that seemed to glimmer with an otherworldly light, like a castle that was plucked from the pages of a fairy tale. For others outside, such a place looked exactly like a fairy tale, for the estate was the largest floating mansion amongst the noble's private residences, powered by the wealth and magic of Lucian St. Lanterne. He is a powerful wizard, earning him the senior seat at the Bureau of Magic, despite his relatively young age for a senior position.

In Year XXXX, on the night of a full-blood moon, his wife gave birth to two children, twins. The children were destined for greatness, the magic marks on their faces showed it as much. Especially the last twin, who was born with three magic marks, it had been generations since the last wizard with three magic marks was born in the St. Lanterne family.

Back then, it was only every few generations that St. Lanterne produced a three-line magic user, they were a family known for their three-line magic users, and each time one was born, the family amassed more power and wealth, culminating to the St. Lanterne that stood at the very peak of Magic Realm.

The birth of (Y/n) St. Lanterne, was the sign that in this era, St. Lanterne was to stand at the top of the all the lands in the Magic Realm. 

Her brother, Luca St. Lanterne, although rare with two magic-lines amongst common society, was not blessed as much in the eyes of their father when he stood next to his younger sister. But, as they grew up, they were a bonded pair during their time homeschooling, however, when time came to elementary magic school, their talents became apparent.

(Y/n) was skilled and learnt how to manifest her magic with ease. Although Luca was much more talented than all the other kids, he was always short of (Y/n)'s genius. Though he didn't mind, because he was always in (Y/n)'s eyes, in every class activity, in every interaction she had with others, she always included her older brother who was the wallflower of St. Lanterne.

To (Y/n), Luca was the only one who has been by her side since they were children and the only one who seemed to understand her feelings, since their father only ever set the highest expectations for (Y/n) to meet due to her magic marks and "destiny". Luca liked it when he was with her, the only person who ever acknowledged him for who he was, all his life and never asked for anything more.

That is, until one day, a terrible accident worn away the warmth the bonded pair once had. After that fateful day, an unspoken tension settled between them, a silent chasm that neither could bridge nor ignore. A curse fell onto Luca, something so irreversible that would haunt him for the rest of his life. From that moment on, he distanced himself.

For (Y/n), facing Luca was like seeing an ocean so vast, it was something that could never be crossed again. But she still cared, and hoped with every fibre of her being, that she could one day break through the storms and tormentous winds, and shed light into Luca's life again.

Presently as it stands, their division has led Luca who is saturated in hate and despair to attend Walkis Magic Academy; and for (Y/n) filled with conviction to bring her brother back from the darkness, to attend Easton Magic Academy.

Two magic marks on the forehead forming a diamond shape in the centre are the signature marks belonging to those in the St. Lanterne family; the additional magic mark for the three-line magic users in St. Lanterne is the singular line overlapping each other under the eyes, creating a diamond shape.

(Y/n)'s uniform consists of the typical Alder white collared shirt and red tie, with a long navy coat draped over her shoulders. She wears long pants, matching the colour of the Alder girls skirts for easier movement in combat. Like the other girls in Alder, (Y/n) also wears the brown loafers.
