Hello, everybody! I'll try to keep this short, but would I even be me if I didn't ramble on a bit at the start of a new story?
Daughter of Rebels, like all my stories, exists because I wanted to tell it. It's not the next great American novel, it's not a vehicle for some greater message I wanted to send, it's not anything I would call important. It's just a love story that takes place in a world I wanted to explore.
You will maybe enjoy reading it if you like:
- Glacially slow-burn romance
- High fantasy
- Responsible, overburdened heroes (of course)
- Flawed, capable heroines (obviously)
- Banter?
- Loss and grief
- Epic, sweeping love
- Y'know. My usual bullshitYou will probably not enjoy reading it if you like:
- Lots of sex scenesOkay. That's all the information I feel compelled to offer at this point. If you decide to proceed, I hope you enjoy the story. As always, I am wildly, wantonly grateful to you for being here.
Liz
