"Logan?" Whispers Alex when he wakes up. He sees his boyfriend sitting on the side of their bed.

Alex grabs his phone and see that it is still early, 8 am.

Logan likes to sleep out whenever he can, so seeing him already awake and sitting up is something new.

“Loges?” Asks Alex when his boyfriend doesn't respond. He sits up and goes to sit behind the younger man.

Logan stares in front of him, but still doesn't react when Alex touches him.

Alex wraps his arms around Logan his middle. He leans his head against Logan's back and press a few light kisses on his naked back.

He doesn't talk, he touch Logan and gives him the time he needs.

He knows Logan is in his head, he always does this when he is thinking about something and he zones out.

He strokes Logan's arm and keeps giving kisses time to time.

He feels how Logan grabs his hand when they are around his middle and then keeps them there. Their arms and fingers intertwined.

Logan rubs his thumb over the top of Alex's hand.

"Are you okay?" Asks Alex softly when he lays his head on Logan's shoulder to see a little bit of his face.

"No." Whispers Logan and Alex feel his grip strengthen.

"I don't want to talk yet." Says Logan.

"Then we stay here, and I keep holding you." Says Alex and he feels Logan relax in his arms.

"Wanna lie down?'' Asks Alex and Logan nods.

Alex let go and slides back. He lays down and opens his arms for Logan.

Logan turns around and goes back to bed. He rests his head on Alex's chest and entwine their legs together. His arm goes around Alex's middle, and Alex wraps his own around Logan's shoulders and holds him close.

He strokes Logan's back and sees goosebumps spreading over Logan's body.

"Are you cold?'' Asks Alex and Logan shook his head.

"No."

"Okay." Says Alex softly and presses a kiss against Logan's head.

"I love you." Whispers Alex, and he looks up when Logan doesn't react.

He started to worry even more when he saw the tears in Logan's eyes that were threatening to fall.

"Hey." Whispers Alex and Logan grabs him even tighter and Alex feels a tear drop on his chest.

"I love you." Says Logan and Alex hears how his voice is shaking.

Alex closes his eyes and holds him close. Logan doesn't start to sob, but Alex feels a tear falling down on his chest a few times.

"I'm out." Says Logan after a while.

"Out of what?'' Asks Alex Logan sits up and Alex follows him. He grabs Logan his hand and looks at him right in the eye.

"James called." Starts Logan and Alex shook his head.

"No."

"I've been dropped, Alex." Says Logan and tears are forming now in Alex his eyes too.

"You are going to have a new teammate in Monza." Says Logan, and Alex is still shaking his head.

Alex wraps his arms around Logan and holds him close.
