"Okay guys let's continue this lecture tomorrow",the lecturer said packing up her items into her bag.
I began packing my books into my bag and wanted to look for my phone but l remembered how l left my phone drowning in the pool like a stupid idiot.
I cursed myself,"shit"."What's wrong Nixi?",Rory asked from beside me and l turned to look at her.
"Ohhh it's nothing.I was just looking for my smartphone and l remembered the incident that made me lose it",I said palming my cheek.
"Ohhh I am sorry Nixi hut we can drop by the apple store together later during the day.I also need to upgrade my phone.We can even get matching phone pouches",she said excitedly making me smile a bit.
It's crazy how we had gotten so close within just a week of meeting.We stood up from our seats and descended the small steps before reaching the glass heavy door.
Rory greeted a few guys as usual and we left for the cafeteria.
I ordered two burgers, fresh crispy chips,a soda and an apple.Aurora looked at me as if l had grown two heads and l was surprised to see her order the same but she went for apple juice instead of a soda.
"I like that",she muttered and l turned to her whilst flipping my hair to the side."What?",I asked and she smiled,"Well l noticed you ain't like most of the girls around here.The food you just ordered right now.How you are not affected by the DS4 boys and the way you are so confident despite everything".
I just laughed and said,"It is what it is.You do what you can in order to survive",I continue to chuckle.
We collected our food and settled down to eat."Rory stop poaching in my plate",I almost screamed when l noticed she was not eating her food at all but eating mine instead.
"Yours is more delicious",she whispered and l laughed before pushing my plate towards her so that we could mix our food.It reminds me of Sophie.The food tasted even better after the pact.
The room suddenly fell quiet.The chattering seemed to have been blown away by a strong terrifying wind.We both lifted our heads up only to see those four guys striding in with smooth yet dangerous steps.
Kiril glanced at me shortly as they continued to an empty table which was waiting for only them l guess.
The guys sat down and for a while the cafeteria was silent before everyone continued what they were doing but the room was quieter now.
"Who are they to command such silence once they pass by?",I whisper-asked Aurora and she stared at me in disbelief.
"Are you seriously asking me that question after one week here Nixi?",Rory stared at me with wide eyes.
