The moment I walked into that office I regretted it. The tension was high. His face looked like he'd just been slapped. That's when I noticed her, the most beautiful woman sat on the chair infront, her blonde hair shining in the light whilst her eyes drew me in, I couldn't tell what colour they were, they were a mixture but they were beautiful. The blondes chest pounded whilst her face was red with what i could assume was anger. Yet when she saw me she smiled. A bright genuine smile. This girl couldn't get anymore beautiful.

The man eyed her, his eye flashing from her to the door but she didn't see. She continued to gaze at me before slowly getting up.

"Hi" she breathed out. "I'm felicity jones, everyone calls me fliss. This is Aaron Hotchner, he's the best boss in the world" her voice dripped with sarcasm as she made her way over to me. I was surprised when she wrapped her arms around me. "He's an ass and will never help you. Come to me if you need it gorgeous" she whispered before pulling away. I was taken aback. Gorgeous? It lingered through my mind before I could talk. "I'm sure he's great. My names emily. Emily Prentiss" I replied. My voice still In shock.

Felicity muttered her goodbyes before leaving the room. The slam of the door caught me off guard causing me to jump out my skin.

"Ignore her. She's just in one of her moods. Why are you here?" Aaron Hotchner questioned.

I was finally allowed to stay after many times trying to convince him that he had signed my papers. Which was true. But he must've forgot. That's when the case got called in. Terrorism. The worst. Many people would get hurt and you wouldn't know who you could save.

The moment I entered the briefing room our eyes locked again, she looked more relaxed, calm and definitely as gorgeous as she was the first time we laid eyes, I placed myself nearer to the screen, her eyes followed me wherever I walked. When I sat down I really took in the view. The first few buttons of her white shirt were undone exposing enough cleavage to drive a teenage boy mental, her hair had been pinned up since I saw her in the office and her eyes still continued to draw me in. As I scanned her face I noticed the smallest lipstick smudge. She must've noticed my lingering eyes as she quickly fixed it, the shock in her eyes confused me. Surely it could've been an accident? That's when someone else walked in. She broke contact as he sat next to him. He pulled her closer whispering into her ear as she smirked. God she was driving me mad.

The briefing didn't take long. I knew they didn't want me on the case out I inputted anyway. The moment I heard Arabic my ears pricked up. I think she saw because she leant forward in her chair, eyes focused on me. When I began to translate it she smiled. She looked genuinely proud of me. Once the briefing was over I returned to my desk. Hoping and praying for an invitation. My eyes were glued to that office. I watched as felicity walked in, she barely spoke a few words but they listened. It seemed she had a great influence despite whatever happened earlier. When they all walked out she gently placed her hand on Gideon's shoulder, I watched as she spoke. Reading her lips I knew what she had said. "Be good to her Gideon. We don't want another Elle repeat" Elle? Who was Elle? I knew I needed to ask but the elder man walked over to me.

"The car will be here in four minutes" he grumbled before walking off. I looked up at her, she had the same beautiful smile on her face. As I nodded in a way of saying thank you she winked. My face must've gone red because Agent Hotchner scoffed before flicking the girl next to him on the head making his was back to his office. Leaving the girl chuckling on her own before she moved to her office

The moment I heard that the rest of the team back home got caught in a bombing I felt sick. My mind went to her hoping she had escaped safely. We didn't know much only that one of the local PD had died. I wanted to make a point to call her. I had to make sure she was okay.

As soon as I got a break I exited the room quickly finding the exit so I could call her. The moment the phone answered I felt all words leave my mind

"Hey stranger" she whispered

"Hi fliss, I heard what happened. Are you alright honey?" I questioned. The called went silent for a moment until I heard faint giggling

"I'm okay sweet girl. Just a few scratch's that's all. I wouldn't have made it out if the window was easily breakable. I got locked in the spare room. Thought it was over en all until the window smashed. Jumped out Morgan grabbed me and we ran. Then he jumped on top of me. I think he broke my ribs" she laughed

I let out a small laugh even though I was frozen. How could she be so calm about this. "Well aslong as your okay. I just wanted to check in. I know it's late I apologise. I'll let you go honey. Sleep well"

"Thank you for checking in. I'm glad you joined the team em. It'll be nice to have someone of my own. And don't ever apologise for calling late. If you ever need me. No matter the time I'll answer. That's what friends do." She replied

"Thank you" if she was here she'd see the big smile on my face. But she wasn't.

"Get some sleep em you need it too" she paused for a moment as she yawned. "Goodnight honey. Stay safe for me"

I hung up shortly after, I felt calmer knowing she was okay. But I knew the moment we landed back in Virgina I had to go see her. I had to double check she was okay with my own eyes.
