**Excessive Eating**
The sun was dipping low in the sky, casting a warm, golden hue over the ThunderClan camp. The day's hunting had been bountiful, and the clan was gathered to enjoy their meal. The aroma of fresh prey filled the air, mingling with the sounds of contented chatter.
Sorrelpaw, her tiny frame practically glowing with excitement, had managed to get her paws on more than her fair share of food. Her eyes were wide with delight as she devoured a particularly large piece of rabbit, her tiny jaws working furiously. Her belly, already full from the feast, was beginning to bulge slightly with each additional bite.
Mouth full, Sorrelpaw let out a series of soft, contented burps. "Buuurp! Heehee!" she giggled, the sound of her burping punctuating her eating spree. The other apprentices and warriors watched with a mix of amusement and mild concern.
Ivyfrost, who had been watching from a short distance, initially found Sorrelpaw's enthusiasm endearing. But as Sorrelpaw continued to eat more than she should have, Ivyfrost's amusement slowly turned to worry. The kit's tiny belly was stretching uncomfortably, and her burps became louder and more frequent.
"Hey, Sorrelpaw, slow down a bit," Ivyfrost said gently, approaching the kit with a mixture of concern and a hint of frustration. "You've had enough for now."
Sorrelpaw looked up with wide, innocent eyes, her cheeks stuffed with more food. She let out another loud burp, "Buuurp! Heehee, look at me, Ivyfrost!" She continued to eat, seemingly oblivious to the concern in Ivyfrost's voice.
Ivyfrost's worry grew as Sorrelpaw's belly continued to expand, and the burps grew louder and more frequent. "Sorrelpaw, seriously," Ivyfrost said, trying to keep her voice calm but firm. "You're going to make yourself sick if you keep eating like this."
Sorrelpaw, her tiny belly now clearly distended, let out a particularly loud, resounding burp, "BUUURRRP!" The sound echoed around the camp, and a few heads turned in their direction. The mixture of burps and the growing discomfort in her stomach started to make Sorrelpaw feel uneasy.
Seeing Ivyfrost's furrowed brow and the way her eyes seemed to hold both concern and frustration, Sorrelpaw's innocence twisted the situation in her mind. She mistook Ivyfrost's caring tone and worried expression for anger. Her eyes widened with fear and confusion, and she abruptly stopped eating.
"I-Ivyfrost hates me!" Sorrelpaw exclaimed, her tiny voice quivering. She quickly scrambled to her feet, her overfilled belly causing her to waddle awkwardly. With hiccuping sobs, she darted away from the camp, each step causing her belly to jiggle.
The loud, tearful burps continued to escape her mouth as she ran, creating a disheartening soundtrack to her flight. "Hic! Buuurp! Ivyfrost hates me! Hiccup! Buuurp!" she wailed, her voice breaking between hiccups and sobs.
Sorrelpaw made her way to Iceclaw, who was resting quietly by the edge of the camp. Seeing the distressed kit approaching, Iceclaw immediately recognized her distress. Sorrelpaw ran straight to Iceclaw, collapsing into his soft fur and hiding her face.
"Iceclaw! Ivyfrost hates me! Hic! Buuuurp! Hates me!" Sorrelpaw sobbed, her tiny frame shaking with each hiccuping sob and belch. Her belly still rumbled with the effects of overeating, and she could barely catch her breath between the hiccups and burps.
Iceclaw, his heart aching at the sight of the distressed kit, gently nuzzled her. "Oh, Sorrelpaw, Ivyfrost doesn't hate you," he said soothingly. "She was just worried about you. You've eaten too much, and she's just trying to help."
Sorrelpaw looked up with tear-filled eyes, her tiny face streaked with mud and tears. "But she looked mad! Hic! Buuurp! I'm sorry, Iceclaw! I didn't mean to be bad!"
Iceclaw wrapped his tail around Sorrelpaw in a comforting embrace. "You haven't been bad," he said gently. "Ivyfrost was just concerned. Let's get you settled, okay? We'll make sure you feel better."
Back at the camp, Ivyfrost watched from a distance, her frustration slowly giving way to guilt. She had not intended to make Sorrelpaw feel this way, and seeing the kit's reaction had made her realize she might have pushed too hard.
With a heavy heart, Ivyfrost made her way over to where Sorrelpaw and Iceclaw were sitting. She took a deep breath and approached, her voice softening. "Sorrelpaw, I'm sorry if I scared you," Ivyfrost said gently. "I just didn't want you to hurt yourself. Please, let me help you."
Sorrelpaw looked up from Iceclaw's comforting embrace, her eyes
