Another excellent day at school, i think to myself while walking out my last class. Jaz! I hear someone screaming my name from across the hallway and when i look up its obviously my loud, crazy best friend Sofia. Jaz!! Jasmine! She comes running to me but i don't answer her because i can see she's coming my way. Sofia finally reaches me and stops, she is huffing and puffing as if she ran the frikin comrades or something. Omg Jasmine, have you heard the news? No, whats happening? I answer with some confusion in my voice. Your boyfriend is having a party this Saturday! Sofia, I will tell you this and I will tell you this once, Jay.is.not.my.boyfriend. But you want him to be your boyfriend right? Sofia says back to me. Yesss.. I start day dreaming about my wedding day with him in the middle of the hallway and everybody starts staring at me. Finally Sofia breaks the silence. Haven't you ever seen a teenage girl in love? Ugh you guys are worthless, she says to ever single person in the school, and they all go back to what they were doing.
"Well Anyways, it's a dress up party so we'll go shopping tomorrow."
"Oh, umm i can't do tomorrow."
"Then we'll go now! "
"Okay finee."
Sofia and I drop in at the mall. It's so big i don't even know where to start. Shopping isn't my thing so I don't know anything about it. so what do we do first? "Hair!"lets get our hair done, screams Sofia, So we go to the hair dresser. Sofia i don't want to change my hair, i like my platinum hair.
Sofia: "Well you want Jay to notice you right?"
Me: Yeah i really do.
Sofia: So you have to change something about you if the old you isn't amusing him.
Me: Okay but am I going to regret this?
Sofia: No, you're going to be gorgeous.

We go through a whole washing, drying, straightening, curling, cutting process before I walk out the curtained room and into the mirror room. I'm Shocked at what i can see in the mirrors. Is this really me? My hair is straightened and wavy to the sides, my face has some powder on it and my eyebrows look so perfect, my eyelashes are wow and my lips are even more wow. I just can't believe it. I have no words for what I'm seeing. "Wow" thats all i can say,
Me: "I look amazing" , i say to the make up artist.
Artist: Yeah, I know.
So Sofia and I went home with new clothes, new hair and new makeup. I think i'm ready for tomorrow. Sofia slept at my house so we can go to the party together.

When I woke up I was so excited but Sofia wasn't in the room. I think she was making breakfast because i heard loud sounds downstairs like pots and sizzling noises. I stood up and ran downstairs.
Me: SOFIAAA!!!! ITS PARTY TIMEEE!!! I started dancing into the kitchen.
Sofia: Geez Jasmine. Calm down.
Me: I'm sorry i'm just so excited to see Jay!
Sofia: Yeah, You have to talk to him Jas. He won't notice you if you don't introduce yourself.

I didn't answer her question because I was too nervous to even approach him. He is the Hottest guy in School. Literally. He's the football captain, is in the top 10 academic group and part of the drama group that goes overseas to do shows. I see him every week because i'm also part of the academic group, I'm No. 3 and he is No. 5. He is so smart and I find it so attractive when hot guys are smart.
Me: Well anyways, we should probably start getting ready now, the party is in 3 hours.
Sofia: Okay but first, I made us breakfast.
Me: Thanks Sof. You're the best.
Sofia: I know I am. Okay lets go.
We went upstairs to my room and locked the door because this room is about to be destroyed.
Sofia: So, where do we start?
Me: I have no idea!
We both laughed because we noticed that we are so weird.
