So this was the world famous Niall Horan, a normal hot guy who didn't seem to really like all us people in his house. I thought talking to him would be hard, like I would get all star struck and faint or something, but it wasn't like that. He was like every other guy I knew, there wasn't anything that special about him. It didn't feel like I was meeting a celebrity, it just felt like I was meeting some normal guy.
Niall turned on the T.V. and changed the channel to a soccer game.
"You like derby?" He asked. I sat down on the couch a foot away from him.
"Derby?" I asked. He pointed at the T.V.
"Derby." He said. I laughed.
"You mean soccer?" He looked at me weird.
"No, I mean derby. That's what it's called, everyone I know calls it that." I laughed.
"No one I know calls it that! In case you didn't know, I'm from America, we call it soccer there." He rolled his eyes.
"I'm not an idiot, I know where you're from. It's just weird, everyone else in the world calls it football, and America thinks it's so important that it has to call it 'soccer'." I scoffed.
"You see that's the thing, you didn't even call it football, you called it derby." He laughed, oh god his laugh.
"That's not the point!" He said. This was the first time he smiled since we got here. His smile was as gorgeous as he was, his eyes lit up like a little kid when he smiled. "Besides what would you know about-YEAH!" He stood up from his seat so quick it scared me and he started yelling and pumping his fists in the air.
"I'm guessing you scored?" I asked. He turned to me with his hands in the air.
"HELL YEAH!" He screamed. I laughed at his enthusiasm. Just then Bobbie and everyone else came running in.
"What's going on!" Bobbie yelled. Niall turned around and looked at him.
"My team scored!" Bobbie sighed.
"I thought something was wrong, god you worry me Niall." Niall just shook his head and sat back down.
"So, should we get started with the interview?" Mr. Reynolds said. Somehow even more people had joined the group, and they started pulling up chairs and mirrors and a stand for the mic and camera and all kinds of stuff. I leaned over to Niall amidst all the craziness.
"Is it always like this?" He looked at everything, a woman came up to him and started powdering his face.
"You have no idea." And then he was led to sit down in one of the chairs.
Wow, I can't imagine all this craziness going on in my own house. That's like the one place that I go to get away from craziness, it's like a safe place. I wonder what his safe place was?
Cassandra sat down in the chair across from Niall's, someone was powdering her nose too.
"Aspen!" Someone yelled my name, "Behind the camera!" Oh, right!
I set my camera up on the stand and started messing with it to get the right lighting. I couldn't even deny that I was staring at Niall through the lens, he was easy to look at.
"Aspen!" Someone yelled, I snapped my head and hit my face on the camera.
"Yeah?" I said, rubbing my head.
"Camera check?" I looked through the lens and focused.
"Check!" I yelled, and gave a thumbs up. I hit record and put on my headphones. Cassandra smiled into the camera and started talking in this weird reporter voice that didn't fit her at all.
