As the years passed, Aerius realized that his obsession with Haven was not merely that of an overprotective brother—especially since they weren't related by blood. So, he decided that Haven would be his, for the rest of his life. To achieve this, he created a new identity: HAYDEN AURELIO WRAITH. He quickly became the most trusted person to VINCENT, the most powerful mafia leader, with his sights set on Vincent's throne. Once Aerius acquired that power, he planned to marry Haven.
On the other hand, Vincent—the most powerful mafia leader, also known as Vicious—fell for Haven at first sight when he saw her unconscious body. He began calling her Eva. The two grew closer, and one night, Haven confided in him about how her brother had been assaulting her. Haven still believes that Ivan, whose real name is Vincent, is a cop, not the mafia king himself.
The next day, Haven is confused about why Ivan left her with Aerius—the very monster she had tried to escape.
Aerius reveals the truth to Haven: Ivan is not a cop but the mafia king, and his real name is Vincent. He lies to Haven, claiming that Vincent is the one who murdered their family.
Now, Haven hates Vincent and decides to help Aerius in his plans, as Aezvan is in his captivity, and she doesn't want her brother to be harmed.
