At Your Best (jalen brooks,tre Brooks love story)

1st day i guess

Hi im Janelle, i used to go to private school but my father divorced my mother and the school was all girls so i never got to interact well with anyone and i only have 2 bestfriends Ellise ( A-le-ce) and Emya . i used to have alot but when a girl got some money they acted funny so i just cut them loose. Anyways im darkskin skin,17, have alot of hair and im average height for my age i guess. Im being transferred to an all public school, i guess I can do well there i mean i would kill to meet new people.
I got ready to go to my new school (outfit in mm) i did my hygiene and did my hair i just put it in a low ponytail since its way to curly. I  have no time for my hair so thats what i do. I ran downstairs and seen my mom cooking breakfast.

Janelle: hey mommy
Mom: hi pookie bear wants some breakfast?
Janelle: yes please im gonna need some to get through the day.
Mom: of course
After i ate my breakfast and  headed to school when i got there , there was alot of kids . i went to go get my schedule i pretty much had all classes to me i guess.

??: hey lil ma what's your name.
Janelle: O im Janelle
??: ok hey Janet
Janelle: its Janelle

Janelle:um ok...

Janelle: ok tre well i gotta go .
Tre:hold up *yells* JALEN COME HERE.

Tre:ok well janet ill see you later im going to class unless you wanna walk  with me.
I walk in the classroom and see alot people introducing themselves.

Tre: hey yall this is Janet she pretty and she mine so dont start nun.
Janelle: its Janelle and no im not his.
Class:ok janet!
Janelle: whatever *gets nudged* Huh?
Jalen: O ,yeah hey im um.. *GCO*
Teacher: Mr Brooks! Quiet!
Jalen: stfu *passes Janelle a note*
I read the note it said :
Hey anyways would you like to come sit with me and my bro at lunch? But your cute.
I looked over at jalen and nodded. I have to admit he kinda made me blush. Some girl kept smiling at me and said your my new bestfriend, i didn't have friends so i mouthed ok and smiled. I think her name was river. Then the girl bext to river said the same her name is mariah i think but she's pretty

At lunch
river,mariah and i sat at our own table and those boys walked up. Tre was looking at me and so was Jalen.

Jalen: hey Janelle. hey rivey, mariah
Tre: hey babygirl,  hey Riv, mariah.
Mariah: bruh i dont have a nickname.
Tre: ok riah
Mariah: yayy thanks!
Jalen: so Janelle tell us about yourself.
Janelle: long story short mom and dad got divorced.
Jalen: O kool same over here.
Tre: you pretty.
Janelle: *blushes*
Riv: yall ima be over there with Alyssa.
Tre: ok, you go .
Riv: shutup.*gets up and leave*
Janelle: so.....
Tre: *staring at Janelle*
Mariah: yall niggas forgot about me
Jalen:*Winks*
Janelle: this is awkward im gonna go . tre: wait *grabs her hand*
Janelle: huh?
Tre: wanna come over?
Janelle: ok....sure
Tre: we just moved over on Hill crest lane.
Jalen:*Gets up and leave with mariah*
Tre: your so pretty  *takes a bite of his sandwhich*
Janelle: *blushes* yeah you keep saying that *giggles*
Tre: O sorry .
Janelle: its ok well i gotta go .
After school i went home and changed into something comfortable i put on my pink crop top  and my pink sweatpants with my pink aunt pearl kd 7s . i told my mom where i was going and ran out the house with my phone. I could walk since his hosue was 2 houses down across the street. I got a text from river and mariah .
Convo
Riv: hey boo stay away from Jalen he's  a baddie known for heartbreaking .
Mariah: but he's cute tho.
Jan: ok and i dont like him , i like tre.
Mariah: i like jalen too girl!
Riv: O ok well ima let you go.

End of convo

I knocked on the door and tre opened it he had nothing on but his basketball shorts. I kinda blushed , he just stared  at me...... again.
Hey , i said.

Janelle:hey
Tre: girl you made it.
Janelle: yeah um so what you wanna do?
Tre: its doesn't matter.
Jalen: o hey Janelle, tre yall wanna come to the basketball court?
Janelle: cool.
Jalen: ok and then afterwards we'll go back home and chill.
Tre: ok well lets go then.

Tre pov
Janelle  is beautiful and i really like her but my brother keeps looking at her i dont know maybe he keeps trying to read her mind. Whatever, janelle is beautiful as i say again. I wanna try to have some fun tomorrow.(its Friday)
At basketball court

Tre: yeah boy i won!!
Jalen: whatever lets go back home.
Tre: Janelle, can i call you jane?
Janelle: sure idc.
Jalen: yeah Jane, well lets go .

Back at tre's house
In tre's room

We were in my room and it was just me and Janelle. She sat on my bed not saying a word just staring at the covers of my bed, i layed next to where she was sitting.

Tre: Janelle?
Jane: huh?
Tre: can i ask you something?
Jane: yes of course.
Tre: i know its we just met but will you be my bestfriend??
Jane: *froze* umm Yass.
Tre: well here before you came i got you a necklace with my name on it .
Jane: aww its so cute and how come you didn't get one?
Tre: what is a cute boy like me doing with a necklace?
Jane: o yeah i forgot, do you have any water??
Tre: down the hall , to the right and theres the kitchen, the water is in the refrigerator.
Jane: ok
Janelle pov
I was in the frigde when just as i was getting out of it someone covered my eyes.
Janelle: ok i can't see now.
Jalen: you have to say Bae i love you.
Janelle:um no that would be weird and which one of you is this?
Jalen: say the magic words.
Jane: nope
Jalen: well then im following you home.
Jane: not until you tell me-*cuts herself off* Ok you can stop jalen.
Jalen: mhm mhm *clears throat*
Jane: fine .
Jalen: ok i guess im going home with you.
Jane:um no.
Jalen: what you waiting for?
Jane: Fine! Bae i love you.
Jalen:*smirks*
Jane:*yells* Tre im going home! See ya Monday.
Jalen: whatabout me?
Jane: goodbye jalen.

Afterwards i went home and got in the shower ,put on my purple victoria secret pajamas and flat twisted my hair with shea butter leave in  conditioner. my mom was gone on a date so i popped some popcorn , cooked so ramen noodles, got a big jug of Arizona and watched dance moms and love and hiphop all night on hulu.
