Author's Pov:

Jungkook sighed as his friends Eunwoo , Mingyu gestures him to get inside the shop. Jaehyun was there, silent and observant. Jungkook entered the shop, a place he'd never expected to be. and his heart beat skips as the bell chimes and he sees Taehyung there, hunched over the counter, likely aware of his presence but refusing to turn around. Jungkook hated that about him.

He walked over to Taehyung, closing his eyes to calm himself. He tried to push away the memories of their recent kiss, but his heart raced whenever he thought of Taehyung.

"J-Just leave," Taehyung whispered, his voice barely audible. Jungkook shook his head, his determination unwavering.

"I'm not leaving until you hear me out," he replied, a hint of anger creeping into his voice. Taehyung remained unfazed, lost in his own misery.

"I've loved you since our school days," Jungkook confessed, his voice filled with pain yet he spoke as if he is in daze.

"You were the only person I ever saw. You made me experience love for the first time. You were my sunshine----my shining star----you still a star, the only difference is---you aren't my star anymore" His voice faltered as he looked at Taehyung's back.

"But you're also the reason for the most painful heartbreak of my life. You cheated on me, Taehyung. I know you've given me answers, but they don't make sense. When we broke up, why didn't you ask why? Why didn't you apologize? Why didn't you try to fix things? And then you just disappeared." He waved his hands in frustration.

"You could have said sorry, and I swear I would have forgiven you. I thought if I broke up with you, you'd realize your mistake. But you just walked away. Were you waiting for me to end things? you know what? I hate you, but I also hate seeing you with anyone else, i hate it when you act so emotionless, i hate it when i hurt you with my word or action even though you have hurt me more then anyone , you must be thinking how pathetic i am right?" he says, his voice soft and gentle yet pain is all was coated in his each word.

"You ruined the part of my heart that knew how to love. And now here you are, going on dates with Sehun and running away from me like I cheated on you, how can you be so damn---so damn heartless taehyung?" Jungkook's voice rose, his fist slamming onto the flower aisle, yet he find taehyung budges not even an inch and it's irked him more.

"You loved him, right? You still do, don't you?" Jungkook asked, his voice filled with both hope and despair. Taehyung's breathing grew shallow, a painful struggle. He wanted to avoid the question, to bury the truth deep within himself.

"I came here to yell at you, to tell you that you're the worst person in the world, and that kissed we shared was just----" Jungkook continued, his voice trembling yet he sounds like child---who just want his favorite person---it's taehyung.

"but i can't----call me pathetic or whatsoever i just don't want to hurt you---because after hurting you---something breaks inside of me---i hate you---so much that it hurts----loving you was so easy -----but hating you so not---it's so difficult---why it is so difficult taehyung"? he asks as if taehyung would answer him yet know he would not

"so lets do this-----lets not meet again---ever----because if next time i would see you---i might end up saying thing----i don't ever wanna say----tae---taehyung"???? Taehyung's body began to move, but his eyes narrowed, confusion and disbelief etched on his face.

"TAEHYUNG!" Jungkook shouted, rushing to him. Taehyung collapsed into his arms, and Jungkook's eyes widened in alarm. He felt Taehyung's body, burning with fever, and his heart broke as tears fell from Taehyung's closed eyes.
