Flying Yet Falling

Charlie ~

She woke up to the rain on her window racing down, and the morning chicken replaced with the pitter patter of rainfall. "Charlie, get ready!" Her mum shouted up the stairs "I am!" She (Charlie) groaned, getting out of bed and changing into her school uniform. She wore a polo shirt with a crimson jumper containing the school logo and a short skirt. "Classic Britain" she mumbled, looking outside.

She walked down the stairs and opened the kitchen door. "Hey mum" she said, still half asleep. "Mhm, go walk your brother to school please" her mum said, not really paying attention. "Fine, come on Dan" she agreed, holding out her hand waiting for her brother to take it. "Ok" the little guys black hair was messy and his jumper had a wet cuff from where he was chewing it. "Do you really have to chew that" she asked, as her hand became cold and wet.

After dropping off Dan for his first day of primary school, she headed to her school, secondary.

Finally, the one lesson Charlie enjoyed; English, except one thing. The person sitting next to her, "can you shut up?" Charlie asked, the football jocks who were joking around next to her. "Um who let the gay girl in?" A guy asked loudly, laughing. Ugh typical.

"Im hereee" a boy chuckled, coming to sit next to Charlie, he had fluffy brown hair, blue eyes and thin lips. He dumped his bag on the ground. "Your late" the sturn teacher said coldly, she scowled at him. "Sorry miss, got caught up in other stuff," he replied in a bored tone.

The teacher was rambling on about grammar and punctuation. "Psst, what took you so long?" Charlie whispered. "Nothing, seriously, some people are late sometimes" the boy whispered back, in a half laughing tone of voice. "But your late at least three times a week! You know my mum wont let me buy gear!" She whispered, irritated. "Um, have something you want to share with the class?" The teacher, mr marvel asked sarcastically. "No" she mumbled
