The SAG awards had been and the Oscars were coming up. Ari and Aaron were at the rehearsal studio for the Oscars performance. They'd brought Tolouse, much to everyone's request and he was was running around jumping up at everyone.
"You know, you and Aaron have been officially together since summer of last year and he still looks at you like you're a goddess." Samantha whispered to Ari, pointing out the fact that Aaron was staring at the girl.
Ari laughed slightly, a blush creeping up to her cheeks, "Everything still feels new with him. It's crazy because we live together and we spend every moment together, but it just feels perfect." The girl smiled and Samantha wore the same bright smile, happy for her friends.
"I'm so happy for you. You two are so perfect for each other." Samantha stood up, Ari following as they went to start the rehearsal.
The rehearsal ran smoothly and the cast seemed ready for the performance. They had a couple of days to rest and get ready before the day of the Oscar's arrived. Everyone was advised to avoid singing and wearing the voices out so the performance could be as best as it could be. Ari was so excited to attend the Oscars, but she was also excited about her upcoming tour. Her management team had just announced that tickets had gone on sale and they'd been talking about tickets for a while, but finally she was getting somewhere. Some venues had already sold out which showed Ari that her tour would do well. Aaron was excited for his girlfriend and he was planning to go to as many shows as he could, he also had to do press for Graceland.
After the Oscars, Ari was going to start her rehearsals for the tour and then she started in New York, going world wide.
After the rehearsal, Ari was walking home with Aaron and Hugh (who lived in Greenwich Village).
"Hugh, would you be up to making a guest appearance at one of my shows?" Ari asked, "I've already asked a few of the others, Jamie, Sam, Helena and Eddie are coming to the London show, Amanda and Aaron are coming to the New York one, Anne said she'd do LA. Some of the others can't do any dates, but would you wanna come to any show of your choice?"
"Oh, I'd love to!" Hugh agreed, "I'll do the New York one with Aaron and Amanda."
Ari smiled, "Perfect, thank you! I'll send you the details later on."
They all approached Hugh's apartment and said goodbye to the man before the couple continued on to their apartment. When they arrived back, Ari let Tolouse of his leash and picked up her guitar. The last few days, she had been getting all sorts of ideas for different songs.
Aaron noticed and sat beside her on the couch, "You got a new idea?" He asked and Ari nodded.
Strumming a few chords on her guitar, "Um, I got this idea for a love song." She admitted to her boyfriend who let out a smile.
"Really?" He asked, "Can I help you write it?"
Ari smiled, "Of course!"
They sat down on the floor and Aaron got Ari's notebook out from the bedroom. Together they wrote a song in 3 hours. The song was going to be called "Lover" and Ari was obsessed with it.
She could feel a new album coming along and she was excited about it.
