EVIE WAS LAYING in her and masons bed. tossing and turning, yet she couldn't go to sleep. finally, mason turned towards her.
he looked a bit startled, but just continued on. "eves, can't sleep?" he asked still half - sleep. evie nodded.
"how'd you guess?" she asked sarcastically, making mason smile slightly.
"I'm psychic"
"of course you are."
"I know I am."
"teach me your ways." evie then replied with a grin, finally feeling a bit relaxed from mason talking to her.
mason mumbled something into the pillow but evie could sort of hear it. she heard the word 'love' and that's it.
she didn't think much of it though, and just went back to sleep.
it was finally the evening. around four pm. mason and evie decided to go to the movies by themselves, as the others just did whatever.
they were going to see minions the rise of gru, because they weren't going to see some horror movie in practically night.
"ugh, I'm so excited to see this movie!" evie says with a grin on her face.
mason smiled back at her. "well you can go ahead and choose whatever."
"i would like to have an icee please." svie says, grabbing a iced cup. evie left mason while he was ordering what he wanted. it must've been short since he was over by her in twenty-nine seconds.
"blue raspberry girl?" mason asked teasingly. a smirk growing it's way on his face. evie laughed before sipping her slushie.
"i guess I am. let me guess you're a pepsi guy?"
"wrong!"
"no way!" evie responded back with a scoff.
"shh, miss perfectionist." mason replied with a smirk now on his already stupidly perfect face.
"well I'd rather be perfect than be sloppy, like you." evie responded, messing up masons hair a bit.
during the movie, evie decided to purposefully move her arm to touch his. just for fun, right?
she was smiling while doing so. let's just hope she doesn't get caught.
mason flinched a little, but just starts grinning and didn't move his arm away.
