Note : Before you start reading the book , I urge you to read this because it is important.  This book is going to be mature. The details and theme will be gruesome and mature. I will try my best to provide trigger warnings but incase I forgot I apologize for that in advance, but if it's something that's not for you i would suggest you to stop right away. Also please don't report me. i am just trying a new writing style so just bear with me. And as always the criticism is always welcomed , please do comment.

Also just a heads up , the updates will be irregular. I will try my best but given my current routine it will be difficult for me to promise anything.  And I will provide proper descriptions of characters as they come. There could be new characters, maybe not. I haven't decided yet.

All my previous readers, Welcome back! It will be fun to interact with you guys again. Love you guys  ❤️❤️

"Aaj toh hummel kissi bhi halat mein deri nahi ho sakti." Someone said, while getting ready for the day. She wore her hair up in a high ponytail and fixed her dupatta, that gently hung over her right shoulder. She gently applied kajal to her eyes and gave herself one final look in the mirror. She chuckled at the rosy hue that had appeared on her face just by a mere thought of her loved one. Just a single reminder was enough for her to be lost in their thoughts again. But her alarm had decided otherwise, ringing loudly throughout the room, pulling her out of her reverie. She quickly turned it off and got the final touches in before rushing out of the room.

(When I first saw them I fell in love.)

She got in her car, excited to reach her destination. Everyone says that the journey is more beautiful than the destination, but right now the journey is torture, keeping her away from her love. She drove as fast as she could, but Mumbai traffic had other plans, she was stuck, with no way to maneuver her vehicle anywhere. She hit the steering wheel in frustration, cussing out everyone and everything. "Amma bhak yeh kya bakwaas hai, jitna jaldi jaane ki koshish kar rahe hai, utna hi deri ho raha hai."

(What nonsense! The more eager I am , the more I have to wait.)

While she was waiting for the traffic to move forward, there was a gentle knock on her window, bringing her attention to the small boy, standing there sweetly with roses in his hand, with anticipation and hope in his eyes. She rolled down her window, to communicate better with the boy. As soon as the window was down the boy quickly started selling the flowers, using the most basic marketing gimmick ever. "Didi bahut hi khoobsurat gulab hai, aap apne boyfriend ko dogi toh woh bahut khush ho jayega. Jitne log ne bhi mujhse gulab liye hai unka pyaar hamesha badkarar raha hai, Forever wala love guaranteed hai. Sau rupay mein acha sa bouquet bana kar dunga."

(Didi, These roses are very beautiful, you will give them to your boyfriend and he will be very happy. Whomsoever has bought these flowers from me, their love has always prevailed. Lifelong love guaranteed. Just in 100 rupees I will make a very beautiful bouquet.)

She just chuckled at the boy's gimmicks, while also reaching for the purse and she said, "200 dungi acche sa aur bada bouquet bana" The boys went towards the footpath of the road and bought bunch of roses wrapped beautifully but haphazardly due to the urgency of the situation. The boy had to quickly move on to the next customer before the signal turned green.

(I will give you 200, make a nice one.)

The boy handed her the bouquet and was about to take the money from her hand, when she pulled her hand back and said "Agar guarantee fail ho gayi toh yahan aa ke 200 fir se leke jayungi." The boy quickly nodded her head in yes agreeing to the terms. She smiled at the boy's sweetness and innocence and gave him a 500 rupee note. The boy reached out to give the change back but she refused and asked the boy to have it all. The boy gave her a toothiest smile ever, and quickly handed her a single rose before merrily moving on to the next customer.

(And If the guarantee fails, I will come back here and take my 200 rupees back.)

She smiled at the roses and thought, "Hum jaante hai , jab aap inn gulab ko dekhoge tab aapke chehre pe duniya ki sabse khoobsurat smile hogi, aapki ankhein pyaar se inhe dekhengi aur fir humme. Aur hum pagalon ki tarah inn annkhon mein kho jayenge hamesha ki tarha, aur aap fir humme chedenge. Lekin iss baar hum aapko ulte seedhe jawab nahi denge balki aapko sab sach bata denge ki hum kyun aap mein yun kho jaate hai, kyun jab bhi hamare aas paas hote hai toh hum behki behki baatein karte hai, kyun aapke har ek harkat, aada, ehsaas se humme farak padhta hai, aaj hum aapko sab sach sach bata denge...."

(I know that when you look at these roses you will have the most beautiful smile on your face. You will lovingly look at the roses and then at me and then I will be lost in those eyes. You will tease me like always but this time instead of deflecting, I will tell you the truth. I will tell you why everything that you do affects me.)

After an excruciatingly long journey , she opened the door to the cafe, the smell of fresh coffee engulfing her as she entered. The busy cafe was a home to every kind of patron, she saw a student nose dived in the laptop and papers scattered on the table, stress and confusion evident on his face. On the other side she saw a group of people all dressed in elegant formals , most probably trying to work out some very important deal.So involved in their discussion that the coffee and treats were forgotten aside. She swept her eyes across the room once more, trying to find the person she came here for.

After looking for a while she came to the conclusion that the person hadn't arrived yet so she settled down at a table near the window. The table was small enough to accommodate two people. She kept the bouquet, and hung her sling on the back of the chair before sliding into her chair.

She waited for them, her impatient eyes wandering towards the door every few minutes, hoping for their arrival. She looked at her phone, to see if any notifications had popped up and that's when she glanced at the time and noticed that she had arrived here an hour earlier than the decided time, she mentally smacked herself. "Hum sach mein pagal ho gaye hai, hum khud hi jaldi aa gaye hai aur un ke deri par naraz ho rahe thee. Acha hua humne unhe message nahi kiya, warna woh kya sochte hamare baare mein."

She got up again and moved towards the cashier, she placed an order for her coffee and sat back down. After a while the server shouted, "Karishma, a black coffee for Karishma", at the mention of her name, she went to pick up her order. As she stood there waiting for the server to get her sugar packets and creamer, she looked at two people who were sitting not so far away, it seemed like they were having a heated discussion. From their body language the girl seemed really guilty while the boy just seemed dejected and angry. Karishma didn't want to pry but she could pick up a few things regarding the conversation. It seems like the girl had doubted that the guy was cheating on him, and had conjured up an elaborate plan to catch him, but it turns out that the plan had backfired, because the boy wasn't cheating.

As she looked at them she thought to herself, "Pata nahi aaj kal logon ke dil se bharaosa kahe chala gaya hai. Ab sab hi jaante hai ki bharosa hi har rishte ki neev hai par fir bhi iss shaq ko apne dil mein panapne dete hai aur ussi wajah se aise stupid plans banate hai. Ab jab dil mein pyaar ke liye jagah hi nahi hogi toh aur kya hoga." She moved her head in dejection at the couple and moved back to her seat.

She turned the phone screen on looking at the profile picture and thought to herself, "Hum hamare rishte ke beech kabhi bhi shaq ko aane nahi denge. Hamare dil mein aapke liye hamesha bas pyaar aur bharosa rahega chahe jo kuch ho jaye." She smiled and just kept admiring the picture while hoping the time would stop moving at such a glacial pace.

She smiled at the gray clouds, as the sound of rain filled her mind with the fond memories of when she first met her loved one. The fond memories just filled her heart with love and gratitude, as she sipped her coffee remembering each time spent with her love.
