~Luke's POV~
"I only have myself to blame, So do you think we can start again..?" I sang to my crowd of no one. It was let alone another damn day all alone in the apartment. The guys had all gone on a roadtrip to Virginia. I was stuck here in Flordia. Em-less. It's been a few days since she caught me and Careema. I should've known that she'd find out sooner later. She just didn't get it.. Careema meant nothing to me. I was only dating her, 'cause Mason liked her, and couldn't even talk to her. Damn, that boy's shy. Yeah. I gotta follow the bro code, but I lost Em over it. I strummed another chord, Going into the chorus again. "I can't live without you, now. I can't even live with myself."
~Em's POV~
He could just go die. It's been three days, and I'm already over him. I'm so proud of myself. I dug out another scoop of Panda Paws, and plopped it in my bowl. I put the lid back on the container, and shoved it in the crowded freezer. I stabbed a spoon into the massive lump, and dug in. I sat down at my computer, on the SWS homepage. I was hoping to grab the tickets for the Vans Warped Tour this summer that I've been saving up for. I scrolled down the homepage, and something caught my eye. "Kellin Quinn live video chat." In big, bold letters. I quickly clicked on it, and waited for the page to load. Kellin's face popped up on the screen, and I jumped, throwing my bowl across the room. Ignoring the shatter of glass in the background, Kellin brought his eyes to mine. "Hey!" He said, giving a little wave, flicking his wrist. My hands flew up to my mouth, shaking. Try not to fangirl, Em. Please. You're 24. Grow up already. I straightened my back, flipping my hair ever-so-slightly. "Hey!" I said, trying to avoid the lump of anxiety, and the need to fangirl in my throat. Kellin beamed. "I guess you're the lucky one!" He said, nodding his head. I heard either Jesse or Gabe in the background saying something like "Kellin, another girl?" Kellin just shrugged it off. He turned his head back, shouting to Jesse/Gabe, "She's beautiful. I got lucky! C'mon. Take a look." He was acting as If I wasn't there. Gabe rushed over, and looked at the screen, whistleing. Kellin punched him in the shoulder, and waved his hand, motioning him to run off. "Mine." He said, protectively, and turned back to the camera, as Gabe ran off, his eyes glued to the screen as he moved away. " Sorry about that." Kellin chuckled. "It's f-fine..." I managed to stutter out. My heart was racing about one hundred miles per hour. I was ready to flip the f*ck out. "What do you mean.. by... "Lucky one?"", I said, Dropping my hands from my mouth, and propping my chin up with them. "Ahh, I don't know. Most of the people I videochat with are fangirls, and start crying. I never meet a decent, pretty girl." He said, and my cheeks lit up. "Are you..blushing?" Kellin asked, bursting out in laughter, as I did the same. "Anyways, babe. What's your name?" He asked. "Em... Oh, what's yours?" I said, hoping he'd note the sarcasm in my voice. He laughed. "Hmm. Bob." I giggled a bit at that, and the doorbell rang. I sighed, and got up. "Hold on, Bob.." I said, winking. He snickered, and I left the room to get the door. I heard a guitar strum just as I opened the door, and saw Luke. On his knee, singing to me. "Oh, my stomach's tied in kn-" I slammed the door on him, and turned the locks, tears filling up my eyes. Why now? I closed all the curtians, and rubbed the tears out of my eyes, before returning to the computer. Kellin was eating Dorito's. "Who was that?" He asked between a mouthfull of chips. "No one.." I mumbled, as the doorbell rang again, followed by banging on the door, and a collection of "I'm sorry!!"'s. I ignored it, sitting, staring tensly at Kellin. "Who is that..?" Kellin asked, now concerned. "It's just some cheating idiot." I muttered, pissed. The banging kept up. Now Mango, my dog was barking. I turned around, and put Mango in his cage. Returning to the computer for the nth time, Kellin had an angry expression on his face. "He hurt you?" He hissed. My eyes welled up with tears, as an "I'M SORRY" Filled my head. He was still at the door. I leaned my head down, covering my face with my hair. "Em.." Kellin whispered. "Are you okay? What happened?" He said quietly, as if anything loud and sudden would make me take out a gun and shoot myself. Just then, I heard a smash outside, and all noise stopped. I jolted upright, and marched to the door. Swinging it open, I saw Luke's guitar, broken, pieces of wood scattered everywhere, surrounding a note. Luke was gone. I picked the note up, and stuffed it in my pocket, to read later. I rushed to the bathroom, and splashed cold water on my face. I dragged myself back to my computer, but this time, Kellin wasn't there.
